Sonic CD 920 bug (?)

I'm not sure if this is a bug or that this is normal but when I was playing the 920 beta (PPZ Present as an example) I noticed that music skips to the next track if I pause long enough and I find it frustrating since the same thing occurs with power ups. I looked up Google for answers but ended up with none. This same bug happened with the JP version as well. I'm not sure if this really is a bug or if it's a problem with GenGS but some help would be appreciated.
