27 May 2012 - 10:17 AMGot this game gifted to me on Steam a few days ago, it is really frustrating for me to play this, not because of the quality of the game since they did make some improvements, but the lack of graphical settings in the options menu. Unfortunately I only have a laptop with Intel GMA X4500 integrated graphics, which does not work well with Episode II as there is some lagging present, with sounds being played before I even see Sonic and Tails getting to an object.
If I can change the settings on other games like Portal 2, why not with Sonic 4? It's just ridiculous that SEGA refuse to do nothing more than a shoddy job with PC ports, yet they charge people ridiculous prices to buy the game. At least I didn't pay shit for Sonic 4.
That's because SEGA ported the game and didn't change the screen scaling to native resolution... (As mentioned before by others)
27 May 2012 - 09:22 AMI have an idea for real-time day/night atmosphere for almost any level, expect that it would require your computer's time to have some kind of realism (Date is not required since it would need more work)
would be nice to see someone doing that (I don't want in-game auto-day/night switching)
26 May 2012 - 03:29 PMDo we really care if Intel wins or not vise versa for AMD if true?
I don't what I care is that I buy the right thing, recommend it not say if its dominant or not.
I say just take one of the GTX series video cards from Nvidia or 5000 to 7000 AMD video cards (Just the higher numbers models)
What makes the difference in CPU are the following: Virtualization, random memory inside it and the way its technically designed to be fast.
21 May 2012 - 09:59 AMGame maker would probably work and doesn't really need a reinstallation.
Sonic generations Will work but if used on another PC, it will say that It needs to be reinstalled (Isn't it only being allowed to install on steam directory?)
21 May 2012 - 08:49 AMI know this was mentioned before my several other members here but did anyone yet figure out how to change the view distance? because I can't stand playing under 15fps or any other person who has a low-range PC which CAN play Sonic generations (Any XML file or anything like that)
Motwera hasn't added any friends yet.
