Posts I've Made
19 May 2013 - 03:20 PMThis is a really minor bug, but when I play as Knuckles, use the glide to attack, and then bounce off (for instance, during the fight with Robotnik in the Final Zone) , upon landing, Knuckles immediately goes to his idle animation (looking angry and tapping his foot) instead of simply standing still. I got this, as I said, during the Final Zone fight, and also when I tried gliding through the destructible wall at the beginning of Green Hill Zone act 2.
09 July 2012 - 12:00 AMIn no particular order (and keeping it to one game per series):
- Wonder Boy in Monster World
I thought this was the best entry in the series. Monster World IV comes very close to it, but I find it a bit too linear (and yes, you can say that all games in that series are linear, but I think MW4 is being way too obvious about it) .
- Shining Force
I think this is the best TRPG I've ever played. I didn't finish SF2 yet, so I don't exactly know how exactly it compares to the first game.
- Mortal Kombat 3
The first fighting game I've ever played, and after all these years I think it aged well. Ultimate Mortal Kombat and MK Trilogy are better just by having more fighters, but since I have them on other platforms, it's the original version that gets the spot on this list.
An amazing platformer, but you all already knew that
- Super Fantasy Zone
A great shoot them up, and the difficulty is rather engaging.
A weird game I discovered almost by accident. Very frantic and stress-inducing (in a good way )
- Darius II/Sagaia
One of my favorite shoot them ups. Being VERY non-linear helps (there are 26 levels, and you only play 7 in one playthough) . I have three different versions of this game (Master System, Mega Drive and Saturn) and they actually play differently and offer different challenges. To simplify it, I could say that the MS version is the easy mode (the kind that, on the other hand, has less content, featuring only 12 levels) , and the Saturn version, which is the direct port of the Arcade game, is the hard mode.
- Golden Axe
Another game that needs no introduction
Just a good solid platformer.
- Earthworm Jim
The second entry IMHO has a few levels that are plain tedious (Puppy Love and Flyin' King particularly come to mind)
- Wonder Boy in Monster World
26 June 2012 - 05:06 PMI completed "Sonic 3 & Knuckles" four times (Sonic & Tails, Sonic alone, Tails alone, Knuckles) , each time with all emeralds, over three evenings.
And then I learned it was Sonic's birthday. True story.
26 June 2012 - 04:57 PMThanks for the update, The Taxman. Updated on both tablet and phone (both Android) , and everything works.
If I may, I have a suggestion for the next Android update: could you please make the on-screen buttons disappear if the game is played with actual buttons? I have an Xperia Mini Pro (a phone with a slide-out keyboard) , and the on-screen buttons seem a little redundant when I use the keyboard to play.
EDIT (after Taxman's response) : Thanks! I honestly had no idea I could do that.
26 June 2012 - 04:43 PMWe're not necessarily "complaining" about downloadable content, we're just simply trying to show that there's demand for it in order to increase the possibility of that actually happening.
In this case, count me in for the DLC, especially if it has Desert Dazzle.
