I don't really know much about these, but maybe someone is interested?

I have $20.00 with me right now.. I might go for it, unless they really are just from illustrated books.

Hmm... There seems to be many pages with official art from SEGA of Japan, for guidance purposes, not to mention that Sonic & Knuckles newsletter.
Looks similar to the material that was sent to the SatAM Sonic cartoon guys, those could be interesting to have scanned.

You may recognise some pictures in those books, like "secret admirer": http://prettysideofp...rg/MGbooks.html

Hi Adamis,
I saw the post today on Sonic Retro about those "cels" up for bidding on eBay. I would LOVE to get my hands on these, especially for the artwork and materials sent to the book company from SEGA, as well as the licensing forms. These materials would really help me out with some work I am doing for Saturday Morning Sonic.
The reason why I'm contacting you is that I am not a registered member at the Sonic Retro forums, and I don't have time before tomorrow to go through the membership quiz. I am currently the highest bidder on the item. Perhaps you could relay the message that I am very interested in these materials? If I win them, I will most definitely scan them and make them available to anyone who would like them.
Thanks,
Michael

I'm guessing he's that "PorpoiseMuffins" guy. If it's needed, I wouldn't mind passing him or something.

'Aye Tweaker, that's me. Thanks for the pass... although I somehow feel a bit... illegitimate now  Actually, I had made it about halfway through the test and was finding it a very educational experience.
Anyway, I don't know whether anyone else here has bid or is even that interested in the auction, but I just wanted to make my intentions known so we could avoid fighting over it unnecessarily.

Neat, cheap enough I'd bid on it, but people with actual uses for them come first :P so I'm not gonna do that, heh.

Do you need that Sonic 3 slide? I wanted that...
I don't know if you noticed, but that slide is actually very tiny. Anyway, we could probably work something out. What do you want it for?

Haha, thanks ^_^
I just got outbid by someone named king_blastoise. Anyone know him? Looks like he's serious since this is his second bid.

You guys (PorpoiseMuffins, drx, Metal_Man88, ICEknight, ...) should team up and collect funds together, imo.
