I noticed that a lot of people were requesting Sonic music. I think that this should be stickied, because then people can check here first, without posting a separate topic asking for music.

OverClocked Remix

•Has a lot of Sonic remixes to familiar tunes, such as "Chao Theme Song" and "SONIC BOOM"
•Also has remixes to lots of other fine games
•Downloading time isn`t very long (especially if you have DSL or OptOnline)
•Quick index to find the game(s) you`re looking for

Espiokaos

•Has lots of Sonic remixes, especially for the Genesis games
•All are MIDIs
•You can submit your own for ones that they are missing

Stardust Speedway
•Neat background music
•Also has profiles on the Sonic characters, tons of animated GIFs, and lots more Sonic goodies
•No pop-ups, unlike other free-hosting services

And of course, you can post other Sonic music sites that aren`t listed! :)

I've been on OCRemix a long time. They're cool. One of my all-time favorite remixers is AE. He/She ROX DA HOUSE!!!!! ^_^

Yay, thanks for the links, Métal, because now I can listen to all the theme songs and Meteor Herd! (my all-time favorite level from SA2B) ^_^

After veiwing this topic (I just noticed it now?) I was wondering if I was going to get to post vgmusic.com but it's already been posted by Métal Dark. (Note that although it has most songs, they are ripped by fans and many have a scratched start and/or are remixs even if they are not labeled as such.)

http://zophar.net Search the VG Music archives. No, you won't find any MP3 or Midi songs, but you'll find better. The SNES game archives are all in SPC format (the format the emulators use to read songs). So each song is 64.5 kb each and are extremely compressable. Think about 400 kb for an entire sound track of a game. They also have plugins and players. So far I have VGM (cGame Gear and Genesis), SPC (SNES), and MiniPSF (Playstation) plugins for my winamp. :(
