I always used to use DGEN but KEGA Fusion seems to emulate the Genesis so accurately that I use that. Its because of all these emulators that I call it a Genesis and not a MegaDrive like I should call it!

Fusion, primarily because it supports my gamepad.

Gens and GensPlus. Kega is useless for debugin'... And I don't care what you say but Kega's Sound emulation is horrible.

I had both my genesis and kega running side by side, needless to say the genesis sounded much better. =P

Fusion is worthless...honestly. As SMTP said, the sound emulation needs work. I use Gens...No modifications.

Are you kidding? Try playing some Comix Zone tunes with Gens and then with Kega.

Kega has MUCH, MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better sound emulation, in every single way. Not your fault if you can't stand the sheer accuracy, compared to sounding better than the original chip. I think that was a popular "bug" in Gens.

Emulation is not accurate unless it produces the same results as the real thing.

I use the official release of Gens 2.11, all the time. 2.14 was a shitty downgrade, nothing new. But, if the window lost focus, it was "de-maximized", so to speak, and the debug menus were removed. Totally lame. I notice no audible sound difference between Gens and Kega Fusion, besides the fact that Knuckles Chaotix's percussions sound WAY too fucking obnoxious in Fusion. Gens+ feels kinda bloated, and refuses to maximize properly. In fact, the only other Genesis emulator that I use with any real frequency is DebuGens, as it's dumps help me to track down data in the ever uncharted realm of S3K.

I use Genesis Plus for most things, but I use Generator for what crashes in Genesis Plus.

Craptastically, there are no 32x or Sega CD emulators on the Mac. [PPC]

Gens plus. Nothing more. I don't care about correct emulation and all that other crap. It works, its got good features, end.

DrMD is my emulator of choice, because I much prefer to play games on my GP32 then on my Laptop.
