[Heran Bago]

I booted up a random ISO/MP3 set I have called "sonic 5 (jap)."
The music seems mixed around, but most of it's the same. The sound effects are almost non-existant except the basic ones. Time travel's sound effect is WEIRD. There's an S monitor! Tons of other things are different to the final. If I ever get my Sega CD working me n' Shade'll have to comb over it for differences.

Just as I'm finishing posting this, I'm realizing that I could probably figure out which beta it is at the Sonic CulT. I'll see if it lists differences from the final.

edit:I am a humongous douchebag who forgot to do 5 seconds of research. This is the 510 Sonic CD beta.

CD Sonic 512 beta, earliest prototype we have of Sonic CD. Not a bad one, either - made pretty good use of the eventually unused monitors.

The beta music doesn't fade out either, and some is even different! It's ideal for looping, as well as converting to ADX.

I've got it Tweaker. Along with many other Sega CD ISOs (or so I thought, found out some of them never finished. I messed with the priorities n uTorrent and forgot to un-mess with them). I'll gladly send it to you or rapidshare it in a week when I'm in my dorm.

I like to call it the 512 beta, since that's the actual compilation according to CulT (unless it was wrong, of course). Plus, I always remember it being called 512, compared to 510. Eh.
