When you turn of debug ( I think its C you press ?) the time appears when your in debug mode the time goes all messed up.

It can also be done in S3 as well. I suppose the level was just the left untouched where Knuckles should have gone through, but you can make Sonic go through with Debug.

Sonic 3's time, score, etc, stays accurate until you actually go into debug.

"Teleporters"? You mean the "S" monitors, right? Because the teleport monitors were in Sonic 2's debug mode.

He's talking about the purple orb teleporters (the same kind that gets you to Sky Sanctuary in the first place)
