I'd love to see that on real hardware. Just a suggestion.

.. you call that simple? :P
Whilst it would be awesome, I don't think enough is known about Sonic CD right now to be able to do this (or if anyone has disassembled it/if it's even possible to be fully disassembled properly)

Was just a suggestion anyway. I'd nominate my own hack but it's WAY too far from completion to even consider it. :P

Cino, to have a Genesis rom on a Sega CD you don't need to understand Sonic CD but ingeneral how the Sega CD works and uses it's own processor as it's a second 68K processor. There are different Ram regions as well as some CD specific instructions as well so it'd take quite the understanding and research to program for the Sega CD alone.

I thought he meant adding in Knuckles to Sonic CD, not putting the Sonic 1 & Knuckles ROM on to the Sega CD.

Mini Knux is in Sonic 3 2player. Peel out can be adapted to Knux if somebody is an excellent spriter. Time Travel is a spinning Knux spring bounce without Roll.

So, right now, the submissions consist of:
Isolated Island in Sonic 2 (Heran_Bago)
Mecha Flicky (ICEknight)
Sonic 2 CD-style remixes (Cinossu)
Any of various S1+ features (Hivebrain)
They probably took a good deal of work, but in terms of submissions of pre-made works, it's not a whole lot. I don't know if Isolated Island uses a full 64 colors just for the level, but if it DOESN'T, I could probably combine these things. Otherwise, I could probably set them all up individually or in other combinations just as quickly
If anyone else expresses interest soon, I could keep submissions open longer and run up some time for people to come up with something new, but if I don't hear anything, they could close at anytime

Right now I call it "Sonic for MegaCD", even though I chose "SegaCD" for the topic title for some reason

So you're not just going for the S2 remix project? Interesting. I dunno how one would go about SonicCDifying a Sonic2 track though. Though the EU/JAP SCD bad futures are easy, just make the beat sound like it's straight out of a gay disco :D *shot*

I was talking about these:

I probably should have put names beside the submissions (I'll edit that now). I don't know if those are the ones you mentioned ,and by "CD-Style", I just meant fancied-up versions you couldn't play on the Genesis without CD audio support. If I do somehow make room for any in the demo build, though, it will probably only be one
