Yeah that confused me as well =/ All I see is drx posting some damn good info professionally and somehow LOst thinks it's Sonic Cult :wtf:
EDIT: Hmm I can see a few swear words in there which is a bit iffy I suppose... still it doesn't really distract too much from the info.

Well, as I see it, LOst has a general hatered towards Sonic-Cult, and if you look at drx's link, it goes to SCARZ. So my guess it that he hates anything, even info and chit-chat, on SCARZ.

If someone posts something off topic then don't take it off topic further by fucking complaining about it.

Well, when someone posts something off-topic and out of the blue like that, its kinda hard not to notice it and ask "wtf?" But since we're trying to steer this back on topic.
I'm not a hacker of any type, but damn that's nice work!

It just seems that releasing nice discoveries is cult language.
Excellent work all those who found. Good show.

Is "H Scrolling" the same or similar to Parallax Scrolling?

No, h_scrolling happens when your standing still, paralax is when you move.
Ex.
background in EHZ=Paralax
background DEZ=H-Scroll

Exactly what I was about to suggest after reading that.

I get it now. You learn something new everyday here!

Some people have been saying there are subtle music differnces, and drx found something that he says could be music.
From $F8000 on, where music is, v00 and v01 are exactly the same. Sorry, No music differences between the two.
Unless I'm too tired to use the "compare" on hex workshop right.

Some one noted that you could get through
here in rev. 00 with Sonic. Well I can do it with Super Sonic in rev. 01. (Any guesses why?)

Maybe it's because you have debug turned on? And where, exactly, are you trying to go? I explored pretty much the whole of Emerald Hill Zone on v0, and couldn't find any differences.

It's EHZ act 2. I think it's for the same reason as
here, and it's just hard to do it for that spot.
Maybe not.
EDIT: Here,
animated GIF.

You can get through all the EHZ2 secret walls in a rev 01 as regular Sonic as well. You just have to approach them right. I'll give the debug coordinates from directly in front of each secret wall. Top line, since that's the sprite position and not the viewport.
0C6C02CC
This one's easy. You just have to make a low jump over the spikes just before it in order to be able to go through it. It leads to a ring box.
166E044C
This one's easy too. All you have to do is approach it from the lower left and jump directly into it. If you hit the spring and go up, then drop back down, it'll be blocked off and you'll have to go to the left a bit. You can also get to this one after coming out of the next one (which is also how many people do it as Super Sonic). This one also leads to a ring box.
189102CC
This one's also pisseasy. All you have to do is gain a lot of speed, hit the short curve below it, and hang to the left. This one leads to a 1-up box after you drop down. This is also where, if you're Super Sonic (or if you've still got the speed shoes from earlier in the act), you can come out to the right, and keep holding right, and Sonic will enter the previous wall. Also, even as regular Sonic, you can drop down from this wall without hitting the spring, and be able to jump up into the previous wall.
1FEB044C
This one is also pisseasy (as I said, they all are). This works the same as the second one - approach it from the lower left and jump directly into it. And again, if you hit the spring and then drop back down, it'll be blocked off. This one leads to a shield.
I just confirmed all of these on my rev 01 cart, as regular Sonic.
