Look at the top banner
here. See anything you've seen in certain pics I released at my site not too long ago?

It's just a coincidence. You try too hard.
Lots of games have balls with stars on them. It's a trend.

Huh? Which other games? This is the second time I've seen a ball shaped exactly like that, counting the Sonic 2 sketch...

Looks like they haven't, either, as they aren't able to provide any examples...

No, I can't right now. But I can assure there are plenty. I just haven't played them in ages.
It's nothing special ICEknight. That new game looks retarded anyway.

I wouldn't say ICEknight is looking too hard. If you enlarge the smaller ball pictures, you'll see that the scale is similar, if not exactly the same.
ICEknight provided something material to support his statement. Now why don't the rest of you do the same?

Actually, I can see how this works.
If you combine this:

and this:

, you can feasibly get this:

It looks similar, well done for spotting it Iceknight. As for if it's inspired by the prototype, who knows?

Hmmm... I just thought that there might be some kind of bouncing toys shaped like this in Japan or something, so it could be a cultural reference. =|

Notice how the coloring on that ball uses Blue, white, yellow, and red.
These colors are all in the S1 pallet line. S2 was built off S1, right? [/long shot]
