Changed host. I've taken some scripts offline (e.g. front page) because they're causing some weird problems that slow everything down. I'll fix them tomorrow.

I don't think that's our goal, nor should be our goal. Of course, we could always take down the entry quiz or get rid of the trial member system! (ono teh n00bs) :P

Something on your mind, LOst? Spill the beans.

n00bs, definitely not. Newbs, yes, definitely are the future.

Everyone starts out as a newbie, and the entrance quiz and trial member phase is the perfect thing to separate the newbs from the n00bs.

So basically, I agree with both you and Saxman.

I actually hate the quiz, considering I've been around longer than sonic community dirt and failed it once, because I know shit about the hardware

The idea was to reduce the burden on Simon by keeping the 11-year-old "OMG I R TEH L33T SONCI FAN!!!@ LOLOLOLOL" people from even creating accounts. If you can pass it, you're obviously not one of those. Remember that all of the information can be found on the website, or else the rest of the Internet.

Of course, looking at your signature...

The test is designed such that it's unlikely for you to know all the answers by heart. This is normal.

You are expected to research the right answers yourself. Some helpful resources:
Google

That test is friggin' easy. I got like 7/8 on my first try from memory. I would, however, love to see it just on the web site as a takeable test, that'd be cool. *Runs off to go make program that does it*
