Oh, I saw that you were looking for cheat suggestions on Twitter. How about deactivating super mode by pressing the super button while super? Is that possible?

Cheat suggestions? Let's see...

-Disable the "Now Saving" icon. Very minor thing, but it's unnecessary, and wasn't on the Switch version (despite the prompt TELLING you about it still being there, haha.)
-While we're at it, how about something that would hide the HUD entirely? Might be good for screenshots.
-Allow Debug during cutscenes and stage transitions.
-Maybe some things relating to the Blue Spheres and Special Stages? I've already gotten all the golds on the Switch, I don't know if I'm up for it AGAIN. :P

Deactivating Super: Possible, but I'd have to figure out how to get the controller state first.
Disable "Now Saving" icon: No idea where that would be in the code. In fact, I know basically nothing about how the game draws sprites.
Disable HUD: Should be doable, since I already found the HUD drawing function for the Super prompt code.
Allow debug in cutscenes: No clue.
Bonus/Special Stages: I'll probably get to that at some point.

Ahahaha, thank you, this is great. I swapped the file names around a bit, gave the purple stage "Diamond in the Sky" so I could stick "Super Sonic Racing" on the final one.

You're not really supposed to do that, because it screws up the loop points. I avoided numbering the files specifically to discourage swapping them around, but I guess in practice it's still just as easy.

Oh, hah, shows what I know. I beat 'em like that and didn't notice anything amiss, so I guess I'll just have to finish them fast enough that it doesn't become an issue.

Do you think you could add Codenamegamma's partial Egg-Reverie Dashing fixes from his latest cheat-table to the "Super Forms Fly" cheat? It still crashes in certain levels, but it works in a few! If you want to wait until they fully fix it that'd be also understandable.

I don't usually boot the game from the mod loader, but when I do, my controller config seems to be messed up. Not sure if I'm the only one who experiences this- but my DS4 doesn't get picked up and the button config is off for the Xbone controller.

Also, I'm gonna have to test out which code is causing this (I am using the updated Peel-Out code), but my controls were messed up specifically in the special stage, regardless of how I launched the game. Dpad right was jump and it was generally wonky. I have a lot of codes enabled so it'll take some doing to figure out which one caused this... lol

Whenever I try booting directly to a gameplay scene, it assigns my P1 controls to P2.

A few more ideas:
- Disable the speed increase in Blue Spheres. (You could find the speed variable and then find out what writes there and NOP that bit of code.)
- Stop the big rings from being grayed out until you finish the game. (Seems like the rings are being disabled when you exit the stage, regardless of your results, could also help to check out the "completed the game" flag.)
- Knuckles & Tails and/or Sonic & Knuckles mode. (Not sure how the character slots are handled in this game but the coding for AI Tails and Knuckles is definitely there.)
- Don't lose rings on hit.
