Sorry for my ignorance (I don't visit Facebook or other big social media sites too often) but, is it the official Facebook Sonic page? Are you sure it's not a fanpage? Wow, I'm really (positively) surprised/shocked to see they posted one of the best known pictures in the internet mocking Sonic in their officlal page. />

Uh, yeah. It's the real official page. Good way to know for sure is looking for the checkmark in the blue circle icon that is shared among social media sites that verify that the account is an official representation of its namesake.

I don't visit these sites too often, I was asking because maybe it was an unofficial fanmade page despite the "blue circle", who knows... Thanks for letting me know, though.
In his defence, I was actually tempted to post and ask the same thing. Even after clicking around, it wasn't exactly 100% apparent to me, that it was an official page.
I'm really enjoying RubyEclipse's social media workings, but eventually the self-aware act is going to get old. I hope there's some substance for them to work off of in the future, instead of referencing and joking about their failings.

I'm personally more interested in the developer interviews and the like that were brought up on the SEGABits podcast. The current playing for laughs thing that Ruby is doing works for the moment though, it's a good way to get people talking and following the social media channels, and grow positivity for a brand which is reaching the point where people have forgotten that the games were ever good in the first place. I imagine we'll get more substance when there's more to promote.
