Hello Sonic Retro! You know, I am disapointed with myself because I feel that Im useless here, so Im bringing something that may be of your interest. It is nothing official since there's no SEGA logo anywhere, but it is curious.
My sister bought some years ago a board game based on Sonic 1. It is somewhat like the goose game, but not that fun actually. It is in Spanish, so if you want me to translate it just tell me and I will happily do it, meanwhile here are the photos:

"Help your favorite roadrunner defeat the evil Dr. Robotnik"... Lol.

Is Rainbow an Argentinian company? I really don't remember seeing this game in Spain, back then.

I'd like to know where the hell they got all that asset art! I don't think I've seen so much of it together before like this on anything bootleg.

This board game was released in the west through Milton Bradley, with the Sega logo right there on the cover. Not sure why the Sega logo is missing on this Spanish version, though. I've never actually seen the game in person, so I don't know how wildly distributed it was. You'd think it would have been everywhere, especially as it was released in 1992, presumably before Sonic 2 came out and the Sonic explosion really happened culturally. But yeah, I had no idea there was a Spanish version, and only knew the English one existed a couple years back.

I did a cursory look on that website to see if they had anything about the 3D Action Board Game which contains pink Princess Sally art, but instead found about this card game which I've never heard about until just now. I know there was a Sonic X card game (saw it discounted at a Five Below which...well, for some reason I still skipped it), but I had no idea there was one from the classic era. A quick Google search of the card game came up with this interesting post, which contains perhaps my favorite line of the day.

"I still don't enjoy playing Sonic the Hedgehog video games, mostly because I don't understand why he walks up hills so slowly."

Doesn't it look a bit too well made to be a bootleg, though?

With a bit of a dig, you can find things

My approach ot Sonic Retro is often "upload things first, make pages later". There's quite a lot of similar products out there:

I don't see any reason why all official Sonic merchandise can't be covered on the wiki, but people have to step up to the plate for that to happen.

It gets people talking, and we now know of a Spanish version to track down.

Don't be too hard on yourself :v:

I was wondering if you were referring to this 3D Sonic board game that I used to have:

I don't think anybody even implied that.

Scans will always be nice to have.
