You know, when I suggested you guys do this for Halloween in the IRC a while back, I didn't expect that you could actually do it.

Well, I've been playing for about an hour now and I still can't figure out how to actually get at the Emeralds. Even inspecting the post element with Chrome's tool didn't turn up anything useful.

Well, I thought it was cool, until I spent 5 minutes in General Sonic Discussion with the radar never progressing past blue no matter where I moved the mouse.

I completed the game...and got an F rank. /> FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU~

Admittedly I started the thing earlier than I should have and didn't play it for at least 10 minutes, and I admittedly jumped the gun way too much with the first one (a full five minutes spent looking way too far from the goal).

Still the entire thing took 15-20 minutes of searching the forums, though the tally ranked it as 32 min.)

I won't lie, when the radar turns green, the game gets fun. BRB, playing it again for better score.

EDIT: Completed it in roughly 1/6 of the original time (5 mins. 30 sec.)...got a C rank. Acceptable.

My second emerald was in page 41 of General Sonic Discussion. Way to screw me, RNG.

It took me nearly ten minutes and got me a D Rank, but a large chunk of that was also spent reading the forums normally; I didn't really start taking it seriously until about 4 minutes in when I stumbled into my first emerald by accident.

edit: Second run - 3:26:53, B Rank. I figured out a pro strategy about halfway through this run: Start from the last page of a forum and go backwards. You can save valuable time on mouse movement this way, as only the next page buttons ever move significantly, not the previous page buttons.

edit again: Third run - Sub 3 minutes, B Rank. I was well on my way to a sub 3 minute run, and then I got one on page eighty-something of Members Lounge. The ranking requirements really ought to vary based on what forums the emeralds appear in, because some are much harder than others.

Is there as S rank? I managed to get all emeralds in less than 1:30, only one above 30 seconds, and it was still an A rank...

Yay A Rank! I really love this game! Was lucky to get around 2.30 min of all the emeralds, because they spawned in short topics and pages :D
