Stoled from NeoGAF:
Takara Tomy has done something as crazy as Transformers KISS Play, except foreigners may actually find it awesome.
Transformers skinned after video game consoles. The first major reveal is the MegaDrive branded Megatron.
I wonder how moddable these may be to have actual system-on-a-chips...?

Jesus, that Megatron looks like something out of a 90s CGI show. guess they really wanted to go full retro with this huh?

This is the best thing I've seen all week. Without a doubt.

Megabump. Almost made a topic but was smart enough to search. This thing is out and is $120 at most outlets. He's about the size of the midrange voyager class for those of you who know your way around the Transformers franchise so it isn't to scale. He comes with a japanese Sonic 1 cartridge amusingly enough. The left side splits off to form his fusion canon, and the controller splits and plugs into his back to act as wings while the wire feeds into the cannon.
And for scale reference.
From what I've gauged from reviews he's got great articulation with the only downers being the lack of wrist swivels and no traditional hand pegs plug something a 5mm weapon into his hands. Only other con would be that he's a little backheavy with the cannon and controller added. Otherwise he's solidly built, though fairly expensive for what it is.
EDIT: There's a Genesis version with purple highlights, decals, and a Western Sonic 1 cartridge in the works too.
