Best case is repackaging the PC version for Steam with an unlockable HotD2 mouse cursor mode. Didn't Overkill (despite me loving it) sell poorly? In Sega's current mindset, if a game doesn't sell over 1 million units it just gets an iOS port or an HD rerelease.

This makes the most sense, being an awful pun yet relevant to Sega. So a new Typing then, the only question is on what... and I do have an awful feeling this is a mobile port, which will be just lovely when you consider how fucking horrible touchscreens are for any sort of real typing.

I missed getting Typing of the Dead on the Dreamcast, despite having the DC keyboard, and wouldn't mind seeing it re-released on the PC, but I worry about portable ports myself. Even on the 3DS, something like Typing of the Dead would be a nightmare, at best. Pecking away at a touchscreen with one finger is mind-numbing for writing, as handy as it is to have on the go.

This could probably work on larger tablets with multi-touch, though, but the virtual keyboard might take up a lot of screen space.

To be fair, Screwattack's iOS Typing of the Dead homage, Texting of the Bread, was pretty good. It was noticeably slower than the Dreamcast game (but it still got really hectic later on), but I didn't have problems playing that couldn't be attributed to my nervous breaks in games.

There's a different rumor that it's "guts will be BERSERK" (meaning Sega got the rights to make a Berserk game again and "guts" would be the hint more than the blank word)

Of course, knowing Sega teasers... everyone could be wrong, and disappointed.
