You think that's bad, wait 'til you see the Mystic Cave palette in my hack. I pretty much suck at editing the palette for that level.

My exact problem. Why do we suck at Mystic Cave? :P

Thank you everyone. I could come up with some inventive names, but I think it would be more fun if you guys picked the names. Based on the available screenshots, what are some good names for the edited levels?

Also, one last question: can anyone suggest a good (free) place that could host my hack, so I can put it up for download? I want to gather even more opinions, and I think that if a few people played it, the feedback would help me out immensely. The problem is the hosting. So, if anyone has any sites that could host my hack, could you please post them?

Yeah, but I felt that it would be stealing your idea. I tried to go for an original level and got that monster of a devil. v_v

I don't know bobxp, I think your backround doesn't go well the colors of MCZ. So I don't think yours works well either. Course, that's just me :P .

Bleeding Cut I think your MCZ is just fine. Not everyone is going to go with your idea for a level palette, so don't worry about it. I've got some level names for you, though. I'm not very good at naming levels, but I'll give your levels a shot.

CNZ- Night Lights Zone
DEZ- Code Red Zone
MCZ- Hot Cavern Zone
OOZ- Desert Plant Zone

Ooh. Nice names. I like them. ^_^ A lot.

Maybe I'll try to make it more of a lava-type level. The thing is, I had Gens opened up with Mystic Cave Zone on pause so I could try to see what colors should go where. It makes it easier for me to create the palette changes. ^^;;

Not unless SonED is minimized, in which case you can't use it... <_<

You can use SonED with Gens running, I just used it a while ago. You can even save too. Where do you get this stuff about minimizing?

Also, one last question: can anyone suggest a good (free) place that could host my hack, so I can put it up for download? I want to gather even more opinions, and I think that if a few people played it, the feedback would help me out immensely. The problem is the hosting. So, if anyone has any sites that could host my hack, could you please post them?

You can use Illusion Network (that's where I'm hosting mine).

EDIT: Grr... Illusion is down at the moment....

Nice try, Kampfer. But Tuvis already sent me an email saying that it would be down for awhile. :P

I'm going to try and figure out how SonEd works. Forgive me, but this is the first serious hack I've created. So...I am inexperienced. But I shall learn. ;)
