There's close to 700 Sega Saturn games left to make pages for, and despite having gone through hundreds already, I keep finding games which intrigue me
Like
Shin Theme Park, also released on the PlayStation
This fascinates me for two reasons - a) because I like Theme Park, and this is a Theme Park game which has largely been forgotten, and b) ...nobody on the internet has bothered to document it
I mean really all I get from Google searches is auto-generated garbage from databases and "IT'S JAPANESE CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO PLAY LOL". Yet I thought this was a popular franchise. Someone besides me must care, surely.
I'm just wondering, basically... what it is. I get the impression it's a tweaked version of the original Theme Park for Japanese audiences, but I'd hope there was more to it than that, seeing as the original got a Japanese release on the Saturn (and PlayStation) too.
There's a video of the rolling demo on YouTube:
and the changed introduction sequence (which somehow looks older and crappier than the original 1994 one)
any ideas why this exists?
