You might play Sonic on your phone, but does you phone play Sonic? Got a Sonic/Sega Ringtone?

  • I bet you can hear the chorus in your head too.

I can't imagine I'm the only person with a Sonic ringtone on my phone, especially within this community.
My call theme is Flying Battery Zone 1
My texts are Knuckles theme from Sonic 3
A missed call means the Game Over theme
And finally a voice message means Drowning plays
So when you get a call, do you hear Sega Sounds as well?

Mine is this. Luckily, no one ever calls me.

My phone is usually on silent+vibrate, but I do have Flying Battery Act 1 as my ringtone. I used to have the ring sound for texts, but then I found something better.

My phone's ringtone is the Magical Sound Shower jingle from Rent-a-Hero.

My main ringtone is Green Hill Zone from Sonic 1.
When my best friend calls me, it plays the Super Sonic/Invincibility from S3&K.
When either of my parents call me, it's Live and Learn from Sonic Adventure 2.
When I get a text message(which I barely ever do), I get an extra life from S3&K.

I also have Super Sonic from Sonic 2 on my phone, but I just can't remember when it plays anymore, cause I haven't heard my phone play it for months if not years.

I have the "act clear" music from Sonic 1 whenever I get a paypal payment e-mail. I keep my phone silent.

The ending part of the Sonic 2 melody which is now the Title Theme for Generations is my current ringtone. Once I found out that the title theme was that, I felt ripped off.

My phone's ringtone is the Dr. Robotnik theme from Sonic 2. Being my phone is a Nokia 1100 it offers no other 'fancy' options.

My text is currently a meowing cat (fun to see people's reaction to it).
Seeing this topic might make me change it to the classic SEGA chant, or the Sonic 3D one.

I have the lamppost sound for my texts. It sounds great for a short ringtone.

I used to (my current phone is too crap to do MP3) have the YEAHHHH!! jingle from the Saturn version of Rayman as my text alert. It was great, but I was always a bit too self-conscious, haha.

Cool, you've got the same ringtone as mine then (Plus mine's a cheap Nokia 2330 Classic phone)! Is yours the full tune, or is it only 19 seconds long like mine? I've been trying to see if I could get the full tune on mine, but haven't had much luck.

*edit* never mind, found it now (I can send you the link if you want?)

I was going to do a thread like this some day, but never got round to it; glad someone made one!

Sonic 3 Invincibility as my ringtone, Sonic 1 1-up as my text tone.
