Other than, she's okay I guess, she looks a bit generic design wise and obviously Tastes Like Diabetes, but neither really to the extent she becomes unbearable with it. She might seem more genuinely cute if they give her a better voice.

Tails is Sonic but with more focus on vertical exploration. Knuckles is Sonic but with more focus on offensive attacks (Werehog minus stretchy arms and annoying battle music a plus) and hidden routes.
Both wouldn't have the boost, of course, but would have a meter like the boost. (For Tails it would be a flight meter and Knuckles a rage meter like Unleashed) They would however still be reasonably fast and not Big levels of slowness or anything like that, to not alienate anyone who likes the GOTTA GO FAST gameplay.
Pretty simple solution, really. Not sure why Sonic Team finds that so difficult since Sonic 3 and Knuckles...

Silver the Hedgehog
A villain from the future has escaped, and is hiding on time! Follow suit!
Levels are structured as in Shadow the Hedgehog, with your actions determining what level you proceed to. Your
objective is to catch the villain, who would either be on the central timeline or on levels marked. To catch him,
you must follow the same level progression he did; fail it, and you start causing alternate timelines. This can be
fun for exploration issues- finding upgrades only available in specific levels, etc. In the menu, you have an
option to return to the last level you were in in which your timeline corresponded with the villain's- this would
trigger a rush level based on mirrored layouts of the levels in your timeline.
Silver plays in 2d, not so much like a Sonic platformer (with a focus on pinballing and whatnot) but more like a
platformer focusing on his psychic powers.
Chaotix Detective Agency
A game where you play as the Chaotix, duh.
The Chaotix' Agency serves as a hub. Vector recieves missions, which the player then chooses to play or not.
Gameplay is 2d, with the characters playing as a mix of Chaotix and Heroes- you control the team at the same time
(think Sonic 2 Heroes). Espio plays like in Chaotix with the addition of using his tongue as a grappling hook and
becoming invisible, Vector plays like in Chaotix and can swim, Charmy plays like in Chaotix and can grab the other
teammates for flying around.
On some missions you'd have the whole team, on some only two members, on some you'd use a character solo.
There wouldn't be a specific story, some missions would correlate, some not. Ideally there'd be cameos by
basically everyone ever.
Team Dark Game
A game where gameplay follows much the same logic as the Chaotix one I just suggested.
Your hub is GUN Headquarters. The game would be story-heavy, and there would be main missions essencial for the
story, plus a lot more optional missions.
Gameplay would be 2d. Shadow plays like he would in Adventure 2- spindash, whatnot, plus Chaos Blast and Chaos
Spear and a lot more Chaos abilities that one would personalize and buy in a store in the hub. Rouge plays like
Knuckles who flies, but slow and with near to no defense. Omega is a powerhouse, the slowest but with a lifebar
instead of rings and a whole load of weaponry. Some missions would have the characters alone or in duos, some
would have the whole team.
As for the story? Dunno, haven't thought of it.
Amy and Cream game
Cream takes care of a Chao Garden! Yay!
Eggman hired Fang the Sniper to take all the Chao away because he's a badman! No!
Amy helps Cream along!
Cream plays like in Advance 2. Amy plays like in Advance 1 plus rolling, but with her special attacks (the hammer)
being personalizable and interchangeable with power-ups found in the levels. Now she has no hammer, she has a
slingshot! And now she has a hammer on fire. Or something.
Knuckles and Chaotix game
A beat-'em-'up in the style of Streets of Rage.
Someone stole the Master Emerald. Knuckles parks the Island, grabs the Chaotix to help investigate, and gets
punching.

Chaos Blast: I'm not sure how to implement this in the Unleashed/Generations gameplay without it breaking the pace of the game. However, there could be shortcuts that could require the destruction of an obstacle that could only be destroyed by Knuckles or with Shadow's Chaos Blast. It's not the best idea, but it certainly is a way for Shadow to use his Chaos Blast. It'd be nice to see a return of it, after its horrible portrayal in Sonic 2006.
Chaos Spear: This could be used as an offensive attack against enemies, but with the boost, it would make Chaos Spear kind of redundant. Here's an idea, as far-fetched it may be. So Shadow could use the Chaos Spear, and make it as a personal grind rail for him to use. The aiming of the spear would kind of work as it did for the Cyan Wisp in Sonic Colors. The rail would be made, and Shadow could use it as a mini shortcut. Particularly useful in platforming sections. It could also be useful in bosses, as a way to attack the boss with a projectile. Basically, how he used it in SA2's Ark Battle and SG's Shadow Rival fight.
Chaos Control: Could be used to slow down time around the stage, but not Shadow himself. Probably like a less broken Red Gem from Sonic 2006. He could also use it to transport through walls, using that as a shortcut.
Thoughts?

This needs to happen.
Maybe not even this specifically, just a Sonic-styled beat-'em-up.
I like beat-'em-ups.

I don't know about that. Tails can swim. Can Cream swim too? I don't remember there being any underwater levels in Sonic Advance 2 to test that.

I wouldn't mind seeing somebody try another (more likely handheld) RPG, but please stay away from touch screen controls and turn-based combat. These are fucking Sonic The Hedgehog characters, why are they standing there waiting for wild boars and SWAT Bots to attack them first?
Edit no. 24&1/2: Those game ideas are pretty cool. You should flesh some of those out and see if anyone's willing to start up a fan game project with you. Heck, I'm already kinda itching to draw concept art of your Chaotix game.

Not so sure about Knuckles being more combat based, as that could present a problem in level flow, but the hidden routes thing is a great thing to work upon. Tails would be great for heavy vertical and horizontal platforming, so he can use his flight to use. As for his attacks, I think he should either get his tail whip from Adventure back, or use the homing attack like Sonic. Preferably the tail whip to keep things unique.

It's irritating that she hasn't had any more time as a playable character, and SEGA have been stupid enough not to continue her development by letting her see Blaze again. Yeah, we know she lives with her mum in the forest somewhere with Gemerl, but frankly that should lead to some really great stuff. They need to start developing their existing characters much more now, including the Chaotix, who also started off brilliantly, came back fantastically in Heroes, then were reduced to total stupidity in Shadow The Hedgehog.
Lastly, I find it sickening what people do with Cream. I typed in her name on google and on the first page of moderate safesearch, got porn. Seriously.
