Shit! I just had an idea. The classic trio in some tricked-out open-top police buggy. Sega! Get it done.

After the success of Generations, it would be silly not to include Classic Sonic (Bonus points for Sonic Drift car or Naka's Ferrari). I'd love something Golden Axe and seconding Ristar. I really want Vyse and maybe Aika piloting an airship together. Obvious All-Star move is obvious:

I'd love for a more diverse selection of tracks based on things like the house in Toy Commander (make everything huge compared to the characters, maybe add in having to avoid those pencil missiles.), the city in Crazy Taxi, or Tokyo-To from the original Jet Set Radio, along with a selection of the sweet-ass soundtracks from the latter two games. A track from Daytona USA would be awesome, and I would officially call this the best game ever if they included "GAME OVER YEEEEEEAAH!"

I'm really hoping there's a console release for this, as I don't have any of the platforms rumoured so far, but if Segata Sanshiro is in there, I'm buying a motherfucking Vita.

You know who really needs to be in this game? This bastard:

All my rings SEGA, ALL MY RINGS.

If they do third party bonuses like they did with the first one, it would be awesome (if rather unlikely) if they had someone from Fur Fighters or Power Stone.

Fuck it, while I'm reeling off all the things I want out of this game, I want the announcer to be voiced by the dude that did the CRAAZY commentary in Crazy Taxi if you play as BD Joe.

I have a good feeling about Ristar this time around, remember in the last one when sega heard the demand for ristar so put him in the Death Egg track? Plus if he's in, Sega might finally make a toy of him~ I dunno if anyone else is a collector but I'd really like to have a Ristar figure

As I recall they only made toys for the Sonic portion of the cast (aside from the Ryo bonuses), so don't count on it.

Aiai, Amigo, and Beat disagree.

Guess I forgot to bother checking what was actually made and only went by what I saw sold at retail (which was only Sonic characters).

They only made DECENT toys of the Sonic characters, Aiai, Amigo, and Beat were all those stupid tiny figures where the body doesn't come out of the car. They weren't widely available individually and mostly just came as part of the S&SASR set. In fact, I think the Ryo figure was a one off deal made by a completely separate company. I do wish SEGA would realize how cool an actual Sega All-Stars line of 6 to 8 inch action figures would be though, I'd love to have Beat, Ryo, Ulala, and Alex Kidd on my SEGA shelf alongside my generations figures.

Something a Joystiq commenter by the alias of Exu picked up from the Sonic 4 Episode 2 trailer:

Looks like a vast improvement over Episode 1.

Plus, that track's a remix of the recurring All-Stars Racing theme... I don't think Ep2's the only game being teased here.

I hear similarities as well.

I think everyone noticed it the second the trailer came out.

I hate the use of the word rehash... Sylvania Castle is NOT copypaste. Recreating things in HD and 3D is harder than simply creating things. Sonic 4 did the same "rehash" as other sonic titles have done: Green Hill, Green Grove, Turquoise Hill, Palmtree Panic, Sunset Hill, Neo Green Hill, Neo South Island...

Some serious "rehash" was the absence of remixes on the console version of SSASR.

Also they probably used the all stars racing song for hinting the sequel, I doubt the track will be in the game.

Only similarities I can hear is the guitar riff of the Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing in Sonic the Hedgehog 4 - Episode 2's trailer. :v:

I would gladly accept a sequel to All-Stars Racing, I had tons of fun with the first one despite it being a drift-fest to win most of the times, it was challenging indeed but it was a fun challenge. Plus, so many wonderful tracks in it along with so many famous characters available to choose. So yeah, I'd accept a sequel with open arms.

It better have more Bonanza Bros. Posted Image

Ok... two things.
Metal Sonic's course SHOULD be Stardust Speedway!

Secondly... what's with the Hank Hill/SEGA thing? Is this a joke? It's gone WAY over my head.
