It looks like you either automatically transform when you reach certain areas of the track, or you can choose which transformation to take for a section of track. Or maybe a combination of both.

Seriously though, looks neat. I may pick this one up, as I passed on the original. There doesn't appear to be a PC version listed yet, but we'll see.

Okay, if Vector-Man isn't in this game, sUmo obviously can't see the most obvious character to use in a racing game with TRANSFORMATIONS. Don't disappoint me, Sumo.

Apparently Ristar and Vectorman are playable characters.

Also there will be a Steam version (here's hoping for actual online play)

though I noticed that since my last post they took out the word "Sega" from this game. I don't like weighting these things towards Sonic - I don't think the franchise deserves it and if they're aiming to balance things 50:50 like last game, this must mean they have plans to throw more stupid Sonic characters in.

Oh shit you're right. It's just Sonic & All-stars racing. Damn it that's the opposite of what needs to be done Sega.

IGN said that there will be a PC version on digital download services. Ristar and Vectorman are just rumors at this point.

Sonic Kart/Boat/Plane Racing? Its like DKR has come back from the grave!

Also these new tracks and characters are going to be excellent.

Sega lists PC Digital Download on their US Blog.
