Does anyone know how the co-op works for iOS? Is it just local devices? Why can't there be an online hub like the others? The leaderboards work that way.

Probably because they're the weaker systems. They already suffer from lag where the other versions do not, and the online lag can be bad as is. Under the best of conditions there's light input lag. Under the worst, it's utterly unplayable.

Well I guess that explains the $6.99 price tag :/
The only lag I've seen happen during the game so far is a minor blip in Sky Fortress Act 1, after the 3rd Tornado speed trap when I'm walking on a platform.

Don't worry, you're not missing much. As fun as the single player game is, the co-op mode is pretty awful.

I love the co-op gameplay; the only thing that urks me about it though, is the moment I'm considered as going off-screen - where it scoops me up and floats me back to Tails (or Sonic).
Sonic 4 gameplay can be fast paced, so it's easy for 1 player to slip off screen even for a mere second, be it catching a speed booster, spring or whatever. This example is especially present in situations where the other player makes Sonic use the homing attack to run at full speed immediately, while Tails can't. This can definitely slow down the gameplay for 1 of the 2 players. This off-screen function can also be a difficulty killer, sometimes you fall off an edge, but because you have just gone off screen before dying, you will be scooped back to the other player who has made it to the top - Final Destination style
I think something more towards how LBP did it, would definitely work better for an Ep.3 - Where if I go off-screen, I have a few seconds to get back on-screen before I die (or in Sonic 4's case, get called back to the other player)

I enjoyed Co-Op game, only bad thing was the input lag. I actually liked when you were called back and could press A whenever you want. Shame that Tails don't carry you when he is flying and I jump at him.

Hope I'm not being lazy by requesting a link to the soundtrack in MP3 format? Google isn't turning up anything right now and I don't wanna look through over 200 pages on here. :P

Just use the "Search - This Topic" function. It's on the header, directly to the right of "Help Search Members Calendar Content Friends Ignores".

I had the courtesy to look through those 200 pages for the download link.

I've enjoyed the game and it's an great improvement over Episode 1, but it was a shame they left out the secret ending, leaving the conclusion to the series to be up in the air. The posibilities of where they can go with it would make for an interesting sequel. The only thing that annoys me about the game since the physics are better is the fact that using the air dash will get you the most speed versus rolling or even the spin dash. The spin dash should be as powerful as the air dash if not more since you charge it up. Me and my friend could just laugh at the pathetic power of the spin dash after charging it up for a minute. If they can adjust that and continue with the good ideas they have come up with for episode 2 then a episode 3 is a no brainer and first day purchase for me.

Hah, I can't wait for a potential vaporware race between Sonic 4 Episode III vs. Half Life 2: Episode 3 (if S4III does indeed get announced).

Thank you XD Now all I have to do is wait for our crappy "super fast" virgin internet to slug away and download it during peak time.

So have any of you XBL players played with the SOA employees? I'm kinda waiting until Ken Balough shows up online.
