phhttppphh haaaahahahhahaha. No one asked for it, but Sega will deliver regardless (Yet still no word on that Generations DLC or Classic Sonic in Sonic 4. Priorities?)
Music from Sonic 4 Ep 1 and 2 will be soon be available for purchase on iTunes
Commence laughing at this absurd practice.

Well, at least we get to hear the tracks in the entirety, much like in the style of the Sonic Generations OST.

Well at least we will be getting official soundtracks now. Crap or not, its still no reason to make a quick buck off the people who like the orchestral masterpieces. (<- lololololololololololol thats still activated?! but you didn't word replace "perishing Felines")
And I find myself listening to E2's soundtrack allot more then I did with E1, so its a improvement.

That's so hilarious that I might make it my first iTunes music purchase! These better be extended versions. Jun has had plenty of time to properly fix and lengthen ep 1's tracks!

If it's anything like this , then the soundtrack would be purchased by me several times. This is incredible, and maybe how they should have gone originally, considering that Sonic 1, 2 and 3 all tried to emulate real music with MegaDrive tones. Sonic 4 tries to emulate MegaDrive music with a basic soundfont.

orchestral masterpieces for 1.99... Oh boy, I can't wait!
As for the actual tunes themselves... they wouldn't be bad at all if they were done with something that sounded good...
EDIT... I had to see if that was a real filter or if Lanzer was just joking... That just made my day. Yea, orchestral masterpieces my ass...
I can cuss like a sailor, but I cannot say D_Y_I_N_G C_A_T_ZZZ!

Hey Retro Techies! Why did Tose fix the internal resolution of the game (on both ports) to 1280x720 even if the game (at least EP1) DOES run on 1080p on XBLA/PSN?
I'm so fucking pissed with this I started a topic to try opening the eyes of the customers on Sega forums too.. x.x
This is also what happened to SA on recent ports... come on! Locking the resolution down to 640x480 is dumb! Having it at least render 1440x1080 would be ok! Altough widescreen would be the right option.

I may not be buying this day one. I've been looking forward to it, and they may have fixed enough of it, but it's too little too late.

Just letting you people who are in EU know: Sonic 4 Episode II is officially out on Steam. People such as myself who are in the US have to wait another 8 hours.

I don't think this game deserves an 8/10, but it'll balance out Destructoid's review so that's ok with me.
Bastards.
