I just found out that you can now stream Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog on Netflix, and I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else was interested. Sonic Underground's been on there for a while, too.

Is it the whole series, or just seasons?

Maybe I'll give it a look sometime during the Thanksgiving Break.

I think it's seasons 1 & 2. I wasn't sure how may seasons there were total.

I just checked and Cyrus is right. It's Seasons 1 and 2. I did watch a couple of episodes, and it looks like the condition isn't perfect, but it's hardly anything bad (maybe a few specks appearing sometimes). Happy to see this series up, despite not being all the episodes. Well, there's always YouTube. I guess that leaves SatAM, Sonic X, and Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie the only Sonic related movies/shows not on Netflix stream yet.

Oh, and if it's anything to mention, I did hear the United Kingdom is getting Netflix early next year as well.

AoStH only had one season...?

Why did they divvy it up?

It had one season with enough episodes for syndication. 65 episodes.

Looking back at the episode list on Netflix and the episode list on The Sonic News Network and Wikipedia, it looks like Netflix mixed up the episodes and split them into 2 seasons for some reason. The season 1 starts with Best Hedgehog while it's supposed to be Super Special Sonic Search and Smash Squad, which is the start of Season 2. Something like this wouldn't matter being a usual cartoon and all, except they even got the Chaos Emeralds (Season 2) parts mixed up.

Sonic News Network
"Blackbot the Pirate"
"Hedgehog of the Hound Table"
"Robotnik's Pyramid Scheme"
"Prehistoric Sonic"

Netflix
"Blackbot the Pirate"
"Prehistoric Sonic"
"Hedgehog of the Hound Table" (for some reason, this appears twice, one as "Hedgehog of the" and "Table." Dunno why.)
"Untouchable Sonic"
"Robotnik's Pyramid Scheme"

Dunno why Netflix royally screwed up there...hopefully they'll get it fixed or something. At least they have it for streaming, but then again, YouTube and a few other sites do too, I'm sure. I could probably screenshot the episode list for you guys to see what they did.

EDIT - Also, if it's 65 episodes, then Netflix missed some, since I only count 55...

And just for the heck of it, here's how the episode list of the show is played on Netflix.
Season 1
Season 2
The last episode of Season 2 was cut off when I did the screenshot. It's "The Mystery of the Missing Hi-tops"

I've found that it's just a problem with Netflix shows in general. Whale Wars has had the same issue with episodes out of order forever. And that is definitely a show where order matters. -_-

But I think it's pretty cool that this is finally on Netflix. Unfortunately, it isn't SatAM.

Underground is on Netflix, too. I watched it for the very first time last night.

If you like that show, I pity you. I really do. Even more than liking the other 2 animated shows.

Well pity me, since I liked all 3 Sonic cartoons from DIC. I think each have their ups and downs. Underground is probably my least favorite of the three, but I don't think it's no where near that bad. At least from what I remember, the music was okay, and the concept of Sonic having relatives wasn't that bad neither if you don't let the whole "OMG recolors!" and what-not get to you. The whole concept of music saving the world is an odd one, but...eh, probably not the worst. And hey, Underground had Sean Connery. That's pretty cool. XD Sucks it didn't have Tails though.

Although, I don't think I ever finished watching SatAM. I can't remember what episode I stopped on years ago. Eh, if Netflix got Underground and AoStH for streaming, then SatAM might be on its way too in the future.

I tried these in Canada earlier this year and they never worked! Nice job providing equal service, Netflix. Make 90% American exclusive. It had the OVA dub, Underground, and SatAM too. It looked like the entire series of each.

And do not mind Slingerland, he is just on Sonic sites to socialise. Got hit in the head by a puck too many times.

Never really bothered to watch AoStH, maybe I should take advantage of that free month trial now.

EDIT: Whoops! I didn't see this topic was dead since December 16th! I'm sorry.

Yeah, even though we're all stupid for posting in a thread from several months ago, I can say something relevant to the topic of Sonic and Netflix! Now Sonic SatAM is on Netflix in it's entirety!
