Worst thing about running speed highway is balancing your boost bar in the final 3rd of the stage, one too many activations will drain you before the final straight.

Yeah, I noticed you post that on neogaf.

Honestly, I'm stumped. I can only manage a late 1.39 there.

I would fraps a fast run but it makes the game stutter like crazy, my phone can't record the tv too well either :(

I don't expect to EVER be in the top 10 but I'll try my best.

Steam: Infiniti359

Is Steam's search thingy broken? I tried to find all the other Steam ID's and came up empty :s

*Sighs* Alright, this is the final time I'm doing this run. Couldn't let DarkLeafNinja show me up haha. Enjoy.

You know, I post in a speed run topic, and somehow it doesn't occur to me to actually list my times. They're mostly pretty sucky, but I might as well. I'm guessing we're only supposed to post the times we got in Rankings Attack, not in the main game, since you can use skills there. Just in case, I'll put my main game time in parentheses after the Ranking time if I had a better one there.

Green Hill:
Act 1: 1:07.24 (0:58.69)
Act 2: 2:23.78

Chemical Plant:
Act 1: 1:17.83 (1:14.97)
Act 2: 2:42.05 (2:41.99)

Sky Sanctuary:
Act 1: 3:17.92 (3:07.05)
Act 2: 3:29.73 (2:53.42)

Speed Highway:
Act 1: 3:27.59 (2:56.20)
Act 2: 3:18.20 (2:50.31)

City Escape:
Act 1: 2:30.03
Act 2: 3:26.94 (3:17.93)

Seaside Hill:
Act 1: 3:00.94
Act 2: 3:41.55 (3:28.86)

Crisis City:
Act 1: 3:59.58 (3:32.05)
Act 2: 3:39.03 (3:09.76)

Rooftop Run:
Act 1: 4:07.16
Act 2: 3:27.25

Planet Wisp:
Act 1: 5:23.03
Act 2: 6:52.16

Some bitch thought he could steal my first place in City Escape Act 1. I proved him wrong.

I think I figured out a much easier way to get the same time (if not faster) as my complex bouncing method, which makes consistent speedruns of City Escape Act 1 much easier.

Cinos Hedgean on XBL, best being a 1.49.13 on GH Act 2 but I've set a one shot at each time on each of the stages in the online time attack mode, but nothing too spectacular so far... Really temped to get the PC version instead.

Have a wonky video of me doing 1.49.29 on the demo

Updated again, and this time I finally managed to upload the rest of my times as well (as well as an update on a couple of acts I did before that I improved time-wise on).

I now wonder how long it'll be before we see times that'll be pretty much unbeatable in the Retro Rankings.....eh, time will tell, right? :v:

I beat my 0:49:14.

0:48:64 now. I'm trying desperately to break into the top 100.

0:47:24. I'm giving it a rest for now.

Are we doing Bosses too? I just got 3:46 on Egg Dragoon Hard Mode.

By the way, my Xbox Live Gamertag is NamoDyn. Steam is also NamoDyn but I don't have Generations on Steam yet.

Decided not only to allow boss times to be included (since lolwhynot), but also decided to add in a thing for scores for the 30-second trials.

Once I get home and can do so, I'll start covering scores that others have, as well as my own. Hey, could be fun to see who obliterates who in the score rankings. :v:

Current best speed run:
Planet Wisp Act 2: 4:07.95 (I might post a video of this run if I can get it onto my computer so I can edit it. Been running/recording the game on my brother's computer and the network between computers seems borked. It's like a 4gb file due to being raw so not sure if a free file host can deal with it)

Currently number 2 on PC version leaderboards. I might be able to improve my time by a whole minute using a few tricks I found.

I managed to get 00:51.68 on Green Hill Act 1... no idea how you people are getting times in the 40's.

The top time for GHZ is 00:36.38, what the fuck?
