Not me, but this is awesome.
Is it even possible to beat that?
I've killed that time. On ranked, my best there is 1:32:41. If you're playing on the 360 you can see for yourself- it's #1 by a pretty significant margin.
That video is all crusty and old by now. If you want to see something impressive, you should look at his recent skills run.

Posted for those too lazy to go to his channel. He found a way to make the 3D-in-2D glitch useful in Crisis City (if only marginally so) which is more than I can say.
Also, broke 1:43 on Green Hill Act 2. Can't remember the exact time but I was happy to finally break that 1:44 barrier.
Steam. KAKIPI switched over to the Steam version a few videos ago, likely for the slight advantage that 60FPS gives. His Green Hill w/skills run looks like it's in fast motion. :|

Kickin' this up a bit
I'm not sure if the Steam demo counts, but I got 46.64 on GHZ1. The only real difference between the demo and the final (in GHZ's case) is the inclusion of Red Rings, so it should still count, right?
Spoiler
Steam username is Blivsey, not that it matters with the demo.
It can't just be me that dosen't really consider that a speed run right? I'm not really a fan of the BS "if you can do it, it's legitimate way of beating it"
Like Formular 1 or Rally driving, you could cut a huge corners or skip across fields, but it dosen't count because you didnt beat the course correctally.
It was looking like a really good speedrun untill hey jumped half the level =/

There's space for both. This one seems to use the principles of a TAS basically, do whatever's possible in the bounds of the game to complete it in the best time possible.
