I probably cant attend the chat,
anyone willing to ask about scrapped stages in Sonic CD (including the bonus stage reassembling sonic 1's special stages)
or any features he never got to add into the game due to time constraints in dev schedule.

Oh, perhaps somebody could also ask him about theat scrapped "warp effect" I found a while ago in Sonic 1, which could be later seen in the earliest screenshots of Sonic CD.

Perhaps time travel was planned for Sonic 1 before the story was changed?

...Holy shit. Nice.

Maybe I'll try my first crack at an IRC event.

Trying to think of questions, got nothing so far.

Edit: I'm surprised. I'm on the east coast so I'm set, but wow. I completely and utterly lucked out by checking up here a few minutes ago.

Could somebody ask him what Final Fever was going to be like in Sonic CD?

What there is to know about this? Sorry for asking, but as much I know Final Fever it's just the Final Boss's Music.

Final Fever was meant to be the final zone in the game, much like Final Zone in Sonic 1.

Instead the game just ends off in Metallic Madness Act 3.

I'm not really gonna wait around and stick in a chat room for an hour or two so I would be interested in someone asking this question too. Also wouldn't mind if someone asked him about the development process Sonic 1 went through.

Question: "Sonic CD's level numbers go from 1 to 8 but skipping 2. What was level number 2 originally going to be?"

When Sonic Adventure was being made, did you feel it was going in a bad direction, or expect it to lead to future bad games? (Sonic 2006 comes to mind).

Question: "Was Eggman's design based on the Beatles' song "I Am the Walrus"?"

Question: Would you consider making a spiritual successor to Sonic?

Extremely impressive. Obviously. Hilarious that the first reply in the Sfghq thread was "Who?". I'm not even joking.

Question: Oshima-san, you are credited for Konami projects during your time at Sega toward the late-1990s, including Hyper Athlete and Silent Hill. How did you juggle working at Konami and Sega at the time?

(EDIT: I swear, I did not just hear someone on LiveStream saying he wanted to be a woman for Ohshima to bear his children. =O)

Question: How much involvement or knowledge does Oshima-san have regarding the Sonic OVA, considering he had a part in supervising it's development?
