I'd be wary of most solvents. You'll either strip the colour from the spinecard and/or leave a residue on the plastic.

I tend to just slowly and carefully peel away with my finger nail, and then lightly use isopropyl alchohol to remove any sticky residue. Very sparingly though, you've got to be careful with solvents.

If anything, I find isopropyl leaves a weird saturation of its own, though I'm usually doing this on books instead of video games.
