Did you see those for sale somewhere, Grap? I was just looking at Spencer's and they had every cool possible key cover but Sonic.

I got it at an FYE about a year ago. I think Hot Topic carried them as well at around the same time. I also have a Sonic snuggie that I should pose in for everyone's amusement.

Forget the snuggie, you know what I saw the other day at the mall?

Official Sonic Merchandise Shop OPEN!

There's not much on there yet, but there should be more soon. There's a referral system too to get you extra points (or 'rings' as they're called), so it'd be awesome it'd be cool if you'd let me refer some of you to the place.

EDIT: Lol, it's offline now. They had a very limited selection of products up, a front page which was just an image, and a broken shipping rate. It should be awesome when it launches for real, which is supposed to be in time for Christmas.

bah, meant to post this a month ago

Back in September, I was happy to find some Sonic goodies at the Royal Show (held annually, it's akin to a huge carnival or fete; I think every major Australian city has one). Paid $20 for the bundle of apparently $45 worth of stuff. Don't know if these are available elsewhere, but there's always eBay.

Baseball cap, notebook, pencil case, multi-colour pen, and a backpack with Sonic's shiny mug on it...

...and the bag that held it all.

All of you have such neat stuff that I wish I had! ha Well, today I rearranged my library/game shelf since I got some more games for it and also placed a Sonic clock in between classic and modern era games for an added touch.

So, I went to a collectables store on Sunday and saw a swackload of those action figures, including the huge classic Sonic. I wanted something so bad, but don't have the coin for it right now. I ended up buying a little tin shaped like classic Sonic's head filled with Chaos Emerald candies. The candy's rubbish, but the tin is pretty neat. Anyone else see it?

(I hope I posted this on the right topic)

So here's my sad story..
I recently lost my reserve on my SG: CE because of faulty store polices and support from the online store "JB HiFi". :(

A couple of days before they ship the item, I received an e-mail stating there was an error with my payment, and to please respond back to them within 2 days to keep my pre-order.

I sent my reply and received this e-mail back:

Quote

"Thank you for your email to the JB Hi-Fi Online customer service team. Your email is now in a queue waiting for response. You do not need to do anything further. We are currently experiencing delays in replying to emails. We will attend to your query as soon as we can. If you could please limit your enquiry to one email, it will assist us greatly. JB Hi-Fi Online values your feedback and we endeavour to respond to all queries within two business days. Kind regards, JB HI-FI ONLINE"

Now because their email was backed up, I didn't receive a reply back until 4 days later. (2 and a 1/2 hours ago to be exact) :argh:

Quote

Hi -----,

Thanks for your email, it looks like there may have been a bit of a
communication break down.

From the notes on your order I can see that -----, one of our team members,
emailed you last week asking you if you still require your order. Unfortunately
we had no response to the email so the order has been voided.

Unfortunately we are not able to hold stock on extremely popular products such
as the one that you had ordered and as we had no response to the email we sent
you, we had no choice but to cancel.

Unfortunately we have been advised that this product is no longer available and
our product team will be deleting it off our database.

Please note, we have not charged your card for this order - We only process
purchases when orders are ready to dispatch.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Regards,---
JB HiFi

So in the end, I got screwed over...they gave away my preorder to someone else and I didn't get the statue that I wanted...

Now, if I want to buy the Collector's Edition, I have to pay at least the minimum of $300-$400. I simply cannot afford that... not on my salary and I honestly don't have the luxury of spending a lot of money at a time like other serious collectors. Worst of all, I also promised a friend I'd give them the ring that came with bundle and I don't want to disappoint them with the bad news.

So to whoever may have the Sonic Generations: Collector's Edition and PayPal. If your willing to part with the collectible ring included in the bundle, I would be like to purchase the item from you, as long as the price is reasonable, of course. Please contact me via PM if your interested. Thank you.

I think that's the Sonic Bath Buddy, it was to help kids take baths, my mom bought me one that came with a rubber Knuckles finger puppet when she did Avon stuff back in the day (I think maybe like 95?)

So much stuff in this thread I want! I had one of those key covers ages ago, I'd actually completely forgotten about it! (possibly a freebie in Sonic the Comic?)

I'm moving soon and I will finally get the chance to have a proper "Sonic shelf", although there's a bit of a gap between SA2 and Sonic Generations, and I got burned with Sonic 06 :argh:

Just bought Sonic 1/2/3 from Yahoo Auctions Japan though and they'll go right next to my EU ones :)
