Where did the art for the high resolution Sonic 3D Pool title screen originate from, though?
Was it Peter Morawiec who released it? I really can't remember right now.

Scanned this article from Official UK Sega mag issue 15 of Sega of America's website from back in late 1994/early 1995, possibly their first ever website revision seeing as it has only been online for a few months at the time. Has some neat (but grainy) pixel art of Sonic and Knuckles I can't say I have seen before. The way back machine doesn't go this far back either.

Yeah there was no trace of them owning it on the wayback machine which only went as far back as 1999. They probably ditched the domain as soon as they grabbed the sega.com.

Pretty sure I've seen it somewhere before. I think there's a very similar frame in the intro for Sonic CD, if I'm not mistaken.

I've found a page of the Sonic sticker album ( I don't know if it is the actual sticker album or one from the 90's, but it seems the latter) who has some classic art I've never seen before
Maybe we should look after scanning more of this... does anyone have a complete one?
