I just donated $50. \m/
Also a tip for those using Paypal. To avoid the extra fee while sending the money, send the money as a purchase for "services".

drx: Stupid question, but you do have an NPDP Reader/Dumper right? Or are you covering that in the cost. Either way, I won't have money until this summer so I'm wondering if I could help you with the cost of an NPDP reader instead :p (as I plan on getting some dev stuff anyway and if I see an NPDP-Reader pop up I'll send it your way :p)

SegaLoco: as I explained these are most likely just hard drives so it should be relatively easy to dump them.
Anyway this doesn't seem to be happening. I only got $100 so far, and the time limit way a while ago. If nothing happens in a few days, I will be refunding the money. Thanks for trying.

Fff... God damn, I really want to donate to this. I mean, this isn't a legally risky situation, right? I dunno if I'd be able to cover all 600 USD remaining, but I'd certainly be willing to do 200 or so.

Just sent mine off to you drx. Decided to up it to $100. Hopefully the extra $25 might get more people on board, I dunno. Now to find a fucking job...

Wow nice, gg to Tanks.
I hope we get the donations before then. :\
I just hope whatever goes on with Sonic EXTREME wont conflict with what happens here.

Dozens of betas have been dumped with no real repercussions. Sega will hardly give a crap about these games as all three of them are out of print.
You've little to fear in that regard.

I donated $15. =) I'm bringing this up here so that perhaps more people can participate.

This. And a few years ago, about a 1000+ Sega-medium prototypes of various games were leaked to the internet. What did Sega say?
Sega: "..."

Bump because we've still got a shot at this and people keep making retarded threads that aren't Generations or Extreme.
Any word on how much you've got now drx?

Wait a second... Hey, can we go beyond "I'm interested" to "I'll throw money in"? I'll go $100 in, but let's see if we can get the money first, guys.
Less Dimps talk; More money. You got me for $75.
I'll chip in 50$.
I'll let go $10-$20 to you.
I just donated $50. \m/
What happened to all that?

When I wanted to donate I was faced with the fact that my paypal balance was down. So I topped it up. Unfortunately that takes a ridiculous amount of time to process... The money's not in my account yet :/

Edit: I don't feel comfortable with this, sorry. I panicked and did it spur of the moment, and I'm not comfortable with it. Please refund. Sorry.

K2J: I'm sorry you feel this way. But it's your money and it's your decision. I just refunded your money.
Note to others: there is no way you could get burned donating money to me. Nobody cares about old prototypes, and even if they did, the most they can do is issue a DMCA takedown. In either case, nobody can prosecute you for donating money to a website.
Anyway, the total donated is $195 right now.
Edit: interestingly, this is the first time anyone has asked me to refund their money in 6 years.
