The worst part is that I actually played a good bunch of those as a kid. These and some other awful obscurities that I played at the time. If anyone ever wants to check them out, I could upload them, because some of them were just so buggy and with a weird concept too.

What was the one Sonic fangame that had the Angel Island Remix from SSBB? IIRC it came out in 2007-08, I've recently tried to find it but no luck.

Actually disappointed the fangame (Sonic Last Strike) I finished when I was 12 (half my lifetime ago) didn't appear.
Then again, that one did have a tendency to crash on anything not running Windows XP...

Are you perhaps thinking of BlitzSonic? (Finding a video of the unmodified old version was a pain in the ass)
