It's okay, it's not for a ROM so I have an unlimited palette ;D Looks good to me, although the sky could use some clouds or mountains or something. Looks pretty empty as is.
Aye, it was me. Things really have changed, haven't they? Also, Phoebius, I think that it looks somehwat MegaMan-ish because of the excessive black in the BG and the shading style doesn't really match what they used in CD.
It looks really good. But if I was being brutal perhaps it is a little under shaded. You could add another shade of green to the plants and maybe one or two more shades of blue. Just kinda shade everything just a bit more. But that's if I'm being really harsh. As is its still an excellent piece of art.
Yeah, I used another shade of green to remove the black But you know, I'm using Metallic Madness palette, and it's shaded like that.
Wow, I like it! It somehow reminds me of the Good Future of Metallic Madness. As for the water, I would add some kind of ripples, like described a few pages back.
Ahah thanks, well... Yes, maybe. Sometimes I can't draw a single tile, and sometimes it's easier... I don't know why, but while listening to that 808 state music ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jQ_bOP0HfY ), it made me want to make some Sonic CD sequel

AAAAAA! Revert! Revert! If those blue tiles at the bottom are supposed to be solid, they need to be brighter, like you had in your previous version. Try going for a more beveled shape rather than cylindrical, it should help make it look less like Megaman. Also, the clouds could use some white in them, and the "long" cloud is a tad too long and looks unnatural. You should shorten it or trim the edges. The reflection looks perfect, though.
