http://langares.110mb.com/megadrive/Sansan/Sansan.binOriginally posted by Golpezas on Sega-16 but ROM posting there is against the rules so I'm reposting it here since the link there will eventually get removed. Get it while you can!

Usage instructions:
1. Format SRAM if it's the first time you use it (fourth option, then second option).
2. Find a way to emulate SanSan's servers...
Seriously. There's no off-line mode at all, and it seems to require a SanSan ID to connect to their servers... Bummer.
But hey, the title screen uses S/H at least!

So it looks like there IS an off-line mode, after all. From main menu: second option, then fourth option. But you NEED a second player... It has undo at least!

Is this really licensed by SEGA? It's quite odd how the SEGA logo isn't shown in the box or the instructions manual.

So, just to check this, what major achievements come from this ROM dump besides the obvious (Dumping an incredibly rare product)?
Is there much left to find ROM dumps of? I've still been waiting on the Japanese Sega Channel BIOs...

The obvious =P (was developer code T-147 documented, though?), although the modem stuff was easier to find here than in the Mega Anser ROM.

Only recently, but yes.

I vaguely remember there being a website dedicated to this game or something along those lines ... was it a port of something? And could we pin its release date, because I'm wondering if it has anything to do with Tel-Tel Mahjongg... (probably not; I don't see SanSon on the
http://sega.jp/archive/segahard/md/ list)

The official website is still up:
http://sansan.co.jp/Aparently there's a Windows port.

Back in the day it was still multiplatform if I recall correctly.

Has anyone tried contacting Sansan about this game? (
One of the images on their site romanizes the name as "Sansan" instead of "SanSan" or "San San"...) The site itself only says that a console version was released in September instead of May (and isn't the copyright field for build dates anyway?). If not, I'll try contacting them tomorrow.
So is everyone enjoying their Mega Drive Go yet? =P

I would if I could netgame with somebody (the off-line mode can still be used with the emulator netgaming features).
Also somebody tried and got no reply, but then again, he was trying to get a MD-compatible server... so yeah give it a try.
Also it's SANSAN *runs*
