Oh boy. Another Greg Horn "definitely-not-a-render-trace" cover for #240. If this story ends up being a three-parter, expect a traced Tails painting for #241. On the other hand, we have quite possibly the weirdest variant yet as an alternative. Nice touch with the old "Archie Adventure Series" logo.

Sonic Universe cover looks pretty nice, but lacks the flair of #42's.

I saw this earlier, and I honestly thought the variant art was just a fake cover someone made parodying the lazy cover art. The fact that it's real makes is 100 times better.

Wow what a conclusion to the Robotnik story

Robotnik won the fight against Snively and in an attempt to trick the iron queen he lets her and Snively be in charge of one of the Dark Egg Legion chapters. It's not really Snively however, rather it's one of those clones he used while he was escaping in SU 36. The real Snively is trapped in an egg capsule in what appears to be a basement or some hidden room. After gloating for a bit, Robotnik leaves Snively to rot for the rest of his life and walks away. I don't know why but for some reason that just seems like one of the more cold blooded things Robotnik has done in the comics.

I absolutely love how Ian has interpreted Robotnik in the comics. He's a combination of his in game self and his old SatAM self. He's a cold blooded bastard to the max yet he has personality to him that goes past simply mindless evil like back during SatAM. Absolutely perfect. The ultimate villain.

I do agree, hes become the perfect fusion of both game and satam eggman. hes a goof most of the time but can become a crual and very evil bastard at the snap of his fingers. Love it!

I highly doubt this is the end of Snively. He's just being sidelined for the moment. Remember when Dimitri was put in a box where no one would be able to find him? That wasn't the end of him either. I don't think Snively will come back quite as quickly as Dimitri did, but he's almost certainly coming back.

Well, I meant for the sake of being able to go through the whole four parter without having to switch between books right in the middle. It's not even like it's a story where #58 is optional from Knuckles' side of things. If you skip it, #12 makes no sense.
