UPDATE (27th August 2010) :U

As some might have noticed if you try to play right now or have looked at the site, Retro Channel is currently offline for some much needed upgrading. Yes, this does include bugfixes, but please give me a day or so to get everything sorted and working.

The main upgrade for this, obviously, is the whole session time out thing that people seem to be getting.

Do note, once this is done, all older versions of the Retro Channel MDP plugin will cease to work, in the form of an error message or a complete Gens/GS crash.

Only the excessive cpu it uses. But I expect that to go down in time when refinement is done to it at a later stage.

Doesn't use much CPU for me.

Also, I didn't die when I fell in to the pit in Spring Yard.

Yay, a place to dump my bug reports that Tweaker ignored! j/k lol

Some of these might've been fixed already, since I don't see the 0:00:00 record for GHZ1 anymore.

^ Seriously, I'd appreciate a hint before trying something else ridiculous. I haven't done Full Game yet so if it has to do with that then nevermind, I'll figure it out

Apart from persistent connection issues (fails two or three times before it manages to upload), having a blast. Thanks for all the hard work.

Oh, and the pit in SYZ3 doesn't kill you.

Bugs:
Pausing in the overworld and unpausing glitches some tiles appearances.
Also, as stated above, it seem that beating Robotnik counts as a badnik in the Careful Elusion challenge. Empty Wallet is apparently also effected, as I just did Act 2 without getting anything and I got the two things.

Suggestions:
As stated before, I'd like a Zone selection as well as the Act selection that you have currently.

Opinions:
Freaking sweet. Can't wait to see if you plan on doing Sonic 2 and Sonic 3K (and if you do, I can't wait to do the Red Super and White Super challenges AGAIN before I kill you...).

Actually, it does. The top 57 are all joint 1st, meaning the 58th person is... well, 58th. It's how ordering systems work. The first three places shouldn't have coloured backgrounds in that case, though, neither should they have bigger text.

I hope I'm not ruining anything by posting these:

Empty Wallet: Complete a single Act without getting any Rings.

Careful Elusion: Complete a single Act without getting any Rings, Monitors, or Badniks.

If you did what you said, you should have them already by now.

By the way speed runners. I honesty don't believe that GHZ2 could be done around 6 seconds.

Was there a teleportation monitor or something.

All extra lives have been replaced by -30s monitors. Thus that time is the time taken to get to the end from the "extra life" on top of the loop.

I wondered what that did. I thought it was going to be one of those slow down monitors that some hackers put in their game. I thought it was a bug when I didn't slow down. Didn't pay attention to the time deduction when I got it last as I wasn't speed running at that time.

Why are the "full game" playthroughs ordered in the same way they are in the level select? (ie. GHZ --> LZ --> MZ --> SLZ --> SYZ --> SBZ)

fffffffff I thought I fixed that. le sigh, I'll fix that one soon.

I know there are bugs people, look in the Members' Lounge for another post of mine that may explain me not working on bug fixing right now.

So, will there be a version for Gens /Gs Ubuntu anytime soon? This is really great in wine though, just the odd matter of sound not playing.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having CPU issues. My computer gets hot enough to fry eggs when I'm playing.

Love everything else though, I squealed like a bitch when I saw there was MP3 support. Can't wait to see that on more games.

Working perfectly, didnt seemed to affect cpu performance on me E2140 at 2.8ghz each core... I was listening the Sagecast, playing the game and having the Sage IRC channel open along with like...lot of msn and firefox tabs. lol

The only issue is that when I want to upload the stats, It takes like...3 or 4, maybe 5 tries because it keeps failing.

Edit: PS: ...I cant wait for a Sonic 2 hack with Retro Channel v.png
