For years? XD What, is your goal to actually finish the game legitly (without the emeralds of course)? Impossible, really. :P You would have to have some serious mad skillz.

Well, I may not have "mad skillz", but I have a large amount of patience.....and a spoon.

Open up S1_RING.BIN in a hex editor and follow me along with this: HOW THE RINGS BECAME RED: Offset 7D020 - RING Object | Instruction: 70 00 Offset 7D040 - RING Object | Hex Value : 17 Explanation for 17: Divide the 17 up into 1 and 7. 1 is the colour of the ring. You can change this from anything between 0-3 to change it's colour. These are valid colour values: Colour Value|Byte 7 0|7 1|7 2|7 3|7 The 7 is actually part of the next byte, which is B2. 7B2 is where the RING graphics are stored in the memory. So: 17 B2 = Uses palette line 1, and uses the graphics at memory location 7B2! HOW TO CHANGE THE RING SPINNING FRAMES: Offset: 7D097 - Hex Value : 00 Explanation for offset 7D097 : This is what makes the rings in the game spin around. If you change 00 to any number between 0 and 3, you will change the frame of the RING. 0 means its the first frame, 1 is the second, 2 is the third, 3 is the fourth. More frames don't exist in the RING object. HOW TO CHANGE THE SPEED OF THE JUMPING RINGS: Offsets: 7D075 and 7D07F - Hex Value: C0 Explanation: Change the hex value "C0" to any values between "00" and "FF" to change the speed of the jumping rings. The speed for the rings in the hack is "10"
Hopefully this helps a little bit (somehow).

:P But I did this by myself out of boredom. I wasn't studying for weeks to do this. I did this in some free time I had yesterday because I stayed home from school. The only help I got was from Nemesis' hacking guides and all of the hacking help guides that are here. I wasn't "in on it" or whatever you said. XD

EDIT: Moved the veedio to a better host. Now I get to keep my avatar and sig. Drag the veedio to the address bar to see it. (Or, you could go through my frontpage, but eh. Too much work for most of you. :P )

Hey Andy! I can not read the video file. Windows Media Player is looking for the codec, but it still can not play. What did you encode with the video file?
