I wouldn't be surprised if Scarred Sun announced a change to the site on April Fools as a way to bring attention, not unlike how Google chose to unveil Gmail on April 1st.

Anyone remember that one time that Tweaker and some other staff members tricked some of us into believing someone had a proto or something (I forget the details since the topic is gone)? Yeah, lesson learned: don't trust anyone.

This is just an unfortunate case of the few ruining it for the many. I haven't been a member for long, but the whole reason I did join is because the people here are generally more intelligent than those on, say, the Sega forums. I agree with Scarred Sun that this whole Sonic 4 clusterfuck seems to have brought out the worst of us, though. Most of us just minded our own, but the trolls moved right on in. I just hope that we can move past this debacle.

I do have a question. Why not lock down the Sonic 4 thread when things got out of hand? I mean, it looks like it got out of hand rather quickly. No thread=no morons, right? Then again, I suppose that they'd just vent their nerd rage on other threads.

Edit: Are you guys going to leave the wiki as is? I still use it for research from time to time.
