Also, sorry Qjimbo but as much as you wanted to close down the SSRG and make Glowing Bridge MKIII out of this place, you didn't. You *spilled* the tea as usual.

Did you even bother reading what ScarredSun said before you jumped into that post? X64 screwed the forums up, and Qjimbo helped to bring them back. I understand you don't like SSRG, but at least check the facts before jumping into a hate mongering campaign.

Hey, I was in the skype convo. Qjimbo was invited in and after being told what happened, he was unbanned, promoted to a moderator and took part in what went down.
Do I have to explain to everyone what happened in there?
And I do like the SSRG, I've been making suggestions on how to improve the place, but that's another story.
Sorry about that.

Now almost everything is as it should be.

You just need to unban QJimbo.

Seconded, why hasn't this happened? Unless it's going to happen after we restore the backup, which'd probably be a smart idea.

Or I'm reading things wrong.

I don't know if this is explained elsewhere (I just moved and wasn't on for the past few days with the exception of yesterday when I was using my bf's iphone), but what did Hedgie and Wetflame actually do to become banned? (if this is redundant can someone at least point me in the right direction? Thanks)

I guess people were sick of them. I'm guessing the main reason for Hedgie's ban was his behaviour in the MJ memorial thread.

Yeah... no. I'll be seen here a lot less now that Chimpo is mod and shit.
This place is broken to hell, and no amount of god/jesus/zombie jesus/whatever you believe has ultimate power can fix it.

Sad times are sad.

They did no more than what the likes of Chimpo and many others do when they feel their opinion is radically different from others.

So, how much does it cost to be promoted to mod? $100?

As for the bans—No comment.

You really know things are fucked up when Oldbies do bad things and get banned.

Chimpo to mod—No comment.

Why would you mod someone that was suspended within the past 2 months? (And Oh, look, my warns are still here.) Am I the only one who thinks this is unfair?

If chimpo has changed from the 'keeping flame war active' days (like he did with hitaxas) then congrats. If not then the fuck is wrong with this place.

Are you kidding me? Oldbies are not exempt from the rules, none of them are.

It does seem that the elitist attitude of the forum makes it more okay for a mod/olbie/tech member to have an opposing opinion than a regular member. I don't care, if this is the way it should be; whatever works, to be honest. Like I give a fuck whether my words have less meaning, because I have a yellow bar. colbert.png

As for the board's problems, I sure hope everything gets put back together without too much work. That would be incredibly unfortunate to have to manually place topics in certain forums. So, I bid all of you working for that goal good luck.

I never said they were, I'm just saying that Oldbies have been around for a long time and are less likely to do fucked up shit, that is, unless you know, their pushed past their breaking point by nazzism.

Edit: They're > Their

Typo Fix.
