In honor of the tenth aniversary of Sonic 3 & Knuckles I would like to mke a hack of Sonic 3 & Knuckles. But I would also like to make this a community project. I was thinking how I could incorperate this as a group effort, and I came up with this plan. Every member who voluenteers would select a level to edit. That level would be theirs to edit as they please (sprites, pallettes, layout, ect). Then they would send an IPS patch of their level to me and when everybody is finished I would compile it. (I would like IPS's of the rom being hacked, not savestates).(Keep in mind the paths for Knuckles level too).

Disclamer: Due to the quality I want this hack, I do NOT want any sukky qualilty levels (I.E.: Sonic 1337). I or any overseeres will have the power to modify the level if it lacks quality in any way. Of course I have faith in this community and trust that what you will produce A+ grade quality. I have the power to deny anybody to the overseer postition. Also, all overseers must do a level too. Lastly, I want this actually completed. If you say you are going to do something,do it. Don't lie and leave extra weght for other people. I'd Like this done by the end of the year.

Not that I'd actually try this or anything (I haven't made any hacks yet, and I wouldn't want my first to be part of a project such as this), but I just want to say that this is a cool idea, and I hope it works. Or, based on what Rika said, I hope this project works out, unlike the others.
