Why not have Splats the Rabbit? And for special moves, how about a badnik that acts like a Shy Guy from Mario and copies the players movements.

I don't really like either of them, to be honest; a repeated pattern with literally no other texture is pretty bland, and I'm not exactly feeling it when it comes to any kind of worthwhile art makeover. Do you have any kind of mockup of the direction you want to take the level in, or are you just kind of messing around with SonED2? I would definitely suggest planning something out if you haven't already.

I want to have a cave-type level so Im just editing tiles in Soned2 since I have no clue what it will look like at the end. DalekSam was going to work on something but he doesn't know what kind of palette I have in my level. When I am thinking on how the level will look at the end I see Lava Reef art in my Imagination, but I want something original. Therefore, I will keep editing tiles untill I get something I want.
You know, this method could take you a while to come up with something decent. In which case you could do one of two things...
1) Rip a rocky texture from an existing game and go from there.
2) Draw out some concept ideas onto paper and go from there. With this method, you're more likely to create something fresh for a change. Ideally you could do the same thing on a drawing program and see where that takes you, though personally I like to draw all my ideas out onto paper first before drawing it on my computer.

I have lost all of my work. Fortunely I had a back up around the web but it is so old. The ghz art is lost as well as the somersault (I think) and the sonic 2 level select and the sonic 2 options menu. It wont be a problem to restore the codes, but I think I will need someone to help me restore (or at least re-create) the art of ghz and mz.
Also people, remember to create back ups everytime you make something awesome in your hacks, especialy every time you release a beta of your hack, so it will be a little more easier to restore them.

Sweet, how does it behave? Will it be similar to the Scorpion thing in Sandopolis?
