It's not about shading. I just don't know, how to say it right, so I keep my mouth shut.

That looks much better! The facial expression and choice of colors are very fitting for that sort of badnik. Nice job!

Sure. I could do that, but I think we should use a combination of my model and your model, with Zenor's palette. You've got some good shades on it, but I don't like the antenna sticking out of its head. Maybe we could tilt it back a little and make it a bit smaller. Also, I believe you're right about it being too dark for the rainforest level. Maybe we can brighten it up just a little.
I do like that new wingshape Zenor has, though. It looks more streamlined.

That looks great! Now we just need to animate it.

Let's just go with that model altogether, then. I think that palette will work out after all.
I just noticed the small dark green shades at the sides of the sprite. Are we keeping those?

Blue emerald I have to hand it to you, you are amazing! I can't believe my creation has come to life. ^^ I will draw up some animation poses of what I want the animation poses to look like...but if you want to animate yourself I can see your are more than capable! Thank you again!

Thanks, Kamon! I'm so glad to hear this, since I've only been spriting for a couple of months.
Anyway, poses would be great right now. I can't exactly figure out how to draw him preparing for flight. I had this idea of having him flap his wings a few times, but it just doesn't look right. Maybe if I had your sketches, I could see what you wanted him to do.

But flapping would increase lift, without it you just have thrust, and that will send the bird plummeting to the ground. Besides, I'm pretty sure it flaps it's wings in real life.
