Done'd Also made the destroyed version. I moved some things around, so they line up within 1 pixel of the normal eggpod, since this is like the eggpod turned at the screen.

Seems a tad narrow... I don't know if that's just because of the SMS aspect ratio compared to the sprite rip. I think a good base for comparison would be like the FBZ boss from S&K.
Hey, Zenor's ones are cool, too! Now I can't decide which ones look better, and I already PM'd Jim. However I like how things went, I post a crappy sprite here, and I get tons of good stuff without asking for help Thank you guys! Zenor, could you do the second frame of the laughing animation (he's supposed to go up and down), and the frame of the normal pose? Once I see them all I can decide which set to use, if yours, or Jim's.
Any of you, I'll need: One "normal" frame (should be two, as his moustache moves with the wind, but he's closed inside the cockpit there, so one frame would be enough); Two "laughing" frames, moving up and down; One "D:" frame; One "exploded" frame. The winner will be featured AND credited in my hack :D And... uh... may receive a song or something in return.

And the winner is... both of you, lol. I ended up using Jim's final set of sprites, which were based off Zenor's. They look almost the same, but how could I resist to that cute animated gif? Thanks a lot, guys. There's a line of credit for both edit: Just so you know, I'm going to remove one line of pixels from the bottom thing, as those sprites are 65 pixels tall and I don't feel like using a tile for 1 pixel.
Hello guys, I wanted to bring you an update on my current ASM project Sonic Redemption... Opinions? I redid the ground titles, and did the light and dark ones for the sides. Also did some grass. And yeah, I'm aware the grass is similar to the grass in Advanced Edit, wasn't intentional. I'm going to give it a new pallete.
Getting better! I think the outlines are a bit strong on the diamond pattern, but it's turning into something pretty solid.

(Unless for some reason I can't see beyond this picture) And damnit I need to get off my ass and start working on my hack again... EDIT: Having bad grammar issues
Well, I'm not exactly sure if this is the best place to post it, but since it is a project that I work on every now and again, I may as well post it. I know I don't need to tell you all what it is. 460000 hairs, custom fingernails, Spikes on bottom and top of both shoes, made with an old Sonic Heroes model. I felt it was about time I showed the rest of you (Tweaker has already seen it) what I can do. The only thing I'm having trouble with is rigging him, because some of the geometry will not react to the bones. If anyone wants to help me, just pm me.
I'm trying to figure out how SonED2 works: Hopefully the next version of soniNeko will offer something more than an awesome soundtrack, I'm really trying to improve my skills in other departments such as art and layouts. So if I manage to understand SonED2, the Sky High Zone you see in that picture will be featured in my hack
Oh shit, we're all fucked now. Nice work, I love that art. One question though: How did you manage to correctly import the art? I can't somehow understand the existing tutorial about it somehow :S My attempts all screw up, one time it loaded some art, but it was horribly scrambled and distorted.
Not your fault, SonED2's import features don't work properly. For this reason I wrote a couple of tools to help myself during the porting process. And, as you can see, they work fine
You keep saying crap like that, but you don't say what it's about. Mind telling me what exactly it isn't doing "properly"? As far as I'm aware, there are no program errors in this area. You might want to read "Art Importing.txt", for starters. Consider Oerg's post, for example. It sure sounds to me like he's trying to import from an image that wasn't saved in the correct format
