Wait, that game sprite, is the top of his head cut off? Seems like he should have another row of pixels. Seems like it should be more curved.

The nose still doesn't look right. It was smooth in the original, but your sprite has a bit of an extra snout.

I can see that most of you are not used to pixel art like small sprites or icons because you're mistaking low res limitations with intended features.

That's an angled low res straight line, not a curved line.

Nice!
Needs some improvements:
-The outer part of the nose has not much shading.
-Head shape is wrong look more carefully to the original frame, especially the top-right part should be rounder.
I bet Drex will keep an eye on your works! Keep improving!

Hint taken Vince. :P

1. The snout shouldn't be so square
2.. I attempted to ad some in betweens to this shadow
3. The shadow was fixed. Since this is a sphere the shadow should follow the same shape as the rest of the light source. (see 5)
4. The highlight is too small . make it more prominent
5. I love that you're color picking from the original sprite and staying true to it's color, but there are times to recognize when the colour choice is due to hardware limitation. This was such a case, so I replaced the two dark browns with two darker shades of the Rexon's purple body colour.
(6) I also think the back of the head should be rounder, but every time I touch it looks worse. =/
Great work so far though

It's coming out really nice!! :D
That was my favorite badnik since I was a child so I made some more mockup changes to it!

1)Added some inbetweens to the lower shade of the ball
2)changed the head shape like the original frame is
3)The shade on his nose was incorrect
4)Moved the eye to the left, to match the exact position of the sprite, and the bolt as well
5)Added some more volume to the mouth and changed the shape a little
6)The angle of the light shade was wrong
