Chicken with transparency (still just raster concept though

). Man... I'm never starting with a tiny flat image ever again. That took forever to clean up.

I think I'll have to change the feet. They're slightly uneven (back one seems too large - or front too small!). And sorry I haven't tried changing the shading thing on the cheek yet!
I had to darken it a lot or else it looked really washed out when stuck in the mock up.

Very great concept Zemulii!
I'd tone down the black patch on his cheek, but it's very accurate and nice looking.
Good job!

Thanks very much

! I'll probably see what I can do about that tomorrow. Way past my bed time...

So, if I understood correctly, once this is considered "approved" it will have to be redone in Illustrator by whoever can trace it accurately. Is that correct?

Eh, it's really more a process of cleaning it up if needed. Vector files can be easier to edit so if there needs to be some large-ish changes made to it there might be a need to vector the thing.

So that's a yes?
I just fear that most contributors here still are not aware of that process, and think of something they made in Photoshop as a "final" version that shouldn't be worked on anymore, when it's really just the concept where to
start the real final version from.

It isn't always the case, but yeah, you could think of it kinda like that.

Well, my guys aren't as polished as you Chicken, but let me show the wips I did before (I havent touch them since the other day) with that mockup.
Of course, they are missing some shades and shadows, but this will show how they look with the enviroment and characters.

Awesome.
For the record, just so we have all the artwork made for the "creatures", here's a cleaned up version of the penguin from the European cartridge:

I just got around to doing something about the shading on the cheeks. Is this enough?

I sure would say so. That's one HD chicken right there, man.
