The only one that I can think off the top of my head is the Cook and Becker one. It's limited too, but this one didn't get a lot of promotional push (and a lot of people were turn off by the price) so it didn't sell and can still be bought.
Did you click the link? The link I put is the print that came out 2 years ago and it's still available. You're thinking of the book (that comes with the Yuji Uekewa print) that's barely going to come out this month. Also, you missed out on the "metallic" version of the Skuzzles print but the regular version is still available and it's cheaper. It's also limited too so better get as soon as you can before it sells out if you really want it.
Ya, you're right. But Gahd that's an ugly print. No wonder it's still available, lol. Sort of a shame that a series with such a history of iconic and beautiful imagery, and the Skuzzels print and THAT Cook and Becker print are all there is. Someone could produce a classic styled Sonic print once a year, sell it for a couple hundred dollars, and I would gobble that up annually. I know a lot of us would... I'm tempted to create some Sonic merchandise for sale with my business, but I'm a bit leary concerning copyright infringement, I'm not sure what falls under "fan works" and appropriation, and what is blatant theft. But then I see all these various Sonic products for sale, like say on Etsy, or at a community art sales, and I'm not really sure how different or illegal that is. Last thing I want is to get sued by Sega or be labelled a Ken Penders.
Ugly? Really? I actually bought it, and absolutely adore it. The pixel art is really lovely. Although I would have preferred something a little less on the nose than a pixel art cast ensemble, it's still really cool.
Well if you like it that's all that matters, that's why your a true card carrying geek, and not just some wannabe, and I mean that in the best way possible! I don't care for it because it reminds me of the gameboy Sonic games, which I felt bastardized the original pixel art by incorporating the modern aesthetic. Also, while it's pixel art, it's also fairly high-resolution for pixel art IMO. So it doesn't have the imposed limitations I associate and admire with that art form. Obviously this is just one jerks opinion, but some stuff like Sonic Screensaver would be god tier. Does anyone have any insight on the legality of Producing Sonic merchanise which isn't officially licensed by Sega? Like i see people selling unofficial Sonic stuff, is this legal? Or is it illegal but Sega just lets it pass? Any ideas on how one would proceed? What is the realistic risk of this, if any?
Well in the past two or three months, Sega has removed all of my Sonic artworks from Teepublic FYI. I'm sure that's because they've been launching their own line of Sonic shirts.
So were these Tshirts of yours considered copyright infringement? Or how were they able to sell them? Did Sega send a cease and desist?
Places like Redbubble or Teepublic don't really check if you have the rights to the brand. They ask if you do but you can obviously lie. If you want an honest answer then don't put them up for sale. If you think your stuff is really great then pitch it to Sega. Many people here work there, shouldn't be too hard to find out how to do it.

I have not,they've taken down some of my stuff as well recently like some shirts and notebooks that were actually selling. That's how I got the idea that I should've pitch it to them in the first place. As soon as Redbubble sends me a recent order of something I made on it I'll delete the account. I do want to pitch some stuff to them in the future but I'll doubt they want to do business with me now (and that's why Vector has a better chance to actually be in better terms if he doesn't upload anything. )
I'm hesitant to give out too much information. But basically what I had in mind was some classic Sonic metal signage. Basically I want to pick a classic scene, and then produce large metal graphics. Each image would likely consist of 2 layers, being the black outlines as a foreground layer, and then the colored plate as a background layer. Alternatively, an easier and cheaper option would be to create just the black outline layer. A couple scenes that struck me as a good fit were these 2, but really anything is possible. They would need to sell for several hundred dollars each to be worthwhile. So I guess I'd be in the same consumer niche as First4Figures. Although maybe I could just do some early Sonic sketches in black, which would be easier and more affordable. Because they are metal they could be kept indoors or outdoors, and are repaintable. Why not approach Sega? My business is primarily concerned with custom orders, and batch orders of typically no more than 100. The painting process in particular would be labor intensive and it's not really what we specialize in, short of single color applications. Again, the outline only signs would be much easier… I'm more interested in having this as a product which is always available, and taking orders as they come in, perhaps a few at a time, but not a couple hundred all at once. I'm certainly interested to know if this is something people would be interested in. If we went with graphics in outline form only, and a single color, then there is no limit to how many we could pump out. I'm fully open to suggestions if anyone has any good ideas...
I'm selling some boxed 20th Anniversary figures on eBay UK, as I simply don't have room for them. They're not easy to get hold of now, so may be of interest to some people here. So Buckle-Down has an interesting Archie Sonic wallet for sale here. I own one of their Sonic belts and it's great, but what makes this stand out is the item is listed as "Do NOT Put On Sell Sheet". Just thought that was interesting. They DO have other Archie Sonic wallets, but this was kinda interesting. The image also shows "Comic Con Exclusive". Buying one now just to see what happens but someone should grab the images.
I ordered one after I saw the promo on SegaBits. I think it's really great actually, it comes with a charger, so you can't go wrong for the price. It has a nice soft look, couldn't be happier!
So I'm not sure how I missed this, but they have revealed the Sonic x Puma shoes. To my surprise there is also an Robotnik themed pair, which is great, but sort of crappy as well. I say this because I intended on buying 2 pairs, one for wear'n and one for display'n, and now with 2 sets, I would have to buy 4 pairs... and at estimated $130 a pair... oh boy... this got expensive very fast. Anyone else planning on getting a pair, or a couple pairs?
