Oh fuck yes. This will be the second-to-last 360 game I'm going to buy, next to Sonic 4.

YEESSSS I love After Burner, and this looks freakin' incredible. I hope they remake Space Harrier while they're at it.

@Søda the Junker: Too bad they STILL have no plans on a arcade game. *glares evilly at SEGA*

@Topic:
When I heard After Burner Climax was going to be on consoles, what did I do?

- Save 10€ (yeah, euros, not Dollars.) for the game after buying Mega Man 10;
- downloaded the trailer from PSN to see it in PROPER framerate (looks effing sweet.)
- Never stopped listening to this:

So IMAGINE my hype as of now. ;___;

I could bite myself for not buying a points card in time and spending the mony on some iphone apps! -.-´

Anyway, played the Trail Game, GOD, MY LIFE IS NOW COMPLETE, I CAN DIE IN PEACE! XD That's how I feel at the moment! =3>

Anyway, I don't wanna sink to much into hype, I have something to moan about though, I really don't like the way you initiate a 360° roll! :/ I wish they had a option to change that .... maybe there is one in the non trail version .... . :I

Maybe I have to get used to it by playing it a lil more, then again, I was zipping through the trail version stages for the past 3 hours over and over again! :D Had a blast! ^^

Once I get money, this game is bought in a heart beat! :D

I'm waiting till tomorrow to pick up the PS3 version because A) My 360's HDD is full, and B) I'll undoubtedly be able to use any USB flight stick with it, which will be fucking sweet.

I really hope that Space Harrier game that was released a while back makes it on 360.

Yeah, me too, Sega seems to be on a "port-trip" again lately. :/
I'm sure AM2 could esily port that NAOMI Game over to XBL/PSN, they probably still have the sources, who knows!?

Just wanted to chime in, I got the game and it is AWESOME!!!!! Now this is what makes Sega, classic arcade goodness! It feels just like as if I was in the arcades, the classic After Burner we all know and love.

Oh, and besides being able to customize the planes color, you can also listen to the After Burner II soundtrack in place of the Climax soundtrack. Not sure if there are other soundtracks, but this is nostalgia heaven.

All that Sega needs to do now is release Rez and for the love of God release Virtual On Oratorio Tangram to the PS3 and I will be one happy Sega fan!

What's with this whole "not supporting my joystick" on the PS 3 version? I can control Sonic Unleashed with it and I can't play this?

But regardless, still really fun.

Actually, you switch between remastered versions of either After Burner or After Burner II, so they're both nostalgia heaven. There are no new tracks.

Well, I've had this game for a while now, and I can say with all confidence that I love it dearly. Although, I don't like how you automatically barrel roll when you bank in the opposite direction. Map barrel roll to Y(Triangle)+Left or Right, for Christ's sake. It just doesn't work without a flight yoke.

Yeah, it's irritating at first. You soon get used to it, though.

Glad you guys are enjoying it, my 360's currently being repaired so I can't. SIGH.

Interesting you mention Space Harrier though as thats the first title I always say when I talk about titles that need a nice HD remake. Can you imagine classic SH in sweet, lush HD?
